Every great decision leaves ripples, like a huge boulder dropped in a lake. The larger the boulder, the larger the waves, and the more uncertain the consequences. Thousands of years in the past, A young Jedi knight decides to allow a Young Sith to live, despite the Sith killing his master. The Force Ripples angrily at this deviation from the Universes natural path. To restore its own balance, the Force sends the ripples far into the future, changing minor things here and there to compensate. Until the centuries worth of change comes to a brutal and climatic resolution.
Escaping the Naboo blockade, the Naboo royal cruiser manages to escape with little enough damage to make it to Coruscant. There, they find zero support from the Senate, leading to the young, strong headed queen Amidala to return to her home planet to free it herself, with help from Jedi masters Qui-gon Jinn and Quinlan Vos, as well as there Padawans. While Vos and Secura lead the Gun-Gans against the droid army, Qui-gon and Obi-wan confront Darth Maul in Theed palace, giving Padme' enough time to arrest Nute Gunray. However, things take a dark turn when both Qui-gon and Obi-wan are separated, allowing Maul outmaneuver and slay both of them. Padme' and her forces are the next target of the Sith Lord, who cuts through her guards, forces her to sign the treaty and then brutally murders the young queen. With the Naboo fighters unable to destroy the Droid control ship, the Gun-Gan army is routed and Vos and his Padawans attempts to stop Maul from leaving Naboo ends with there ship being fatally shot down. However, the ripple effects change more than just the battles end: Valorum remains as Supreme Chancellor, while on Tatooine, A young slave discovers his master lost his mother to an off worlder by beating against the slave in a podrace. Felling an incredible anger inside, Anakin Skywalker unleashes torrents of Sith lightning, killing his master and leaving him drained, but curious about his new powers.
Over the next ten years, the galaxy slowly starts to fracture. On the surface, the leadership of new Chancellor Mas Amedda proves to be highly controversial, and the Idealistic former Jedi masters Dooku and Sifo Dyas creation of a massive clone army for "personal defense" leaves many in fear. However, the highest profile danger was the fracturing Jedi Order, with one side (lead by Master Ki-adi Mundi) believing the Jedi should oppose the increasingly corrupt Republic, another (lead by Master Windu) supporting putting the entire Galaxy completely under Republic control, and a third (lead by Master Yoda) wanting to stay out of things altogether. And finally, below the notice of most people, the Sith Order is also highly strained, with both Plagueis and Sidious remaining extremely mistrusting of each other, with Maul caught in the middle. Things hit a boiling point when, during a meeting between the three Jedi factions, a high explosive goes off, with Windu and Mundi managing to escape, although Yoda is apparently killed in the blast. At the same time, Plagueis (against Sidious's suggestion) reviles himself to the galaxy by invading the Senate building with a droid army. However, Sidious reviles himself to the Jedi and manages to convince them to help fight of his master, a lightsaber duel breaking out between the four force wielders, ending in the deaths of Windu and Mundi. With the galaxy largely fed up with this, Mon Mothma is elected emergency leader (Amedda fleeing Coruscant) and takes control of the Republic and fights off the Siths droids. At almost the same time, the culprit behind the anti-Jedi bomb, Jango Fett, returns to his master, Count Dooku. However, the hunter discovers that Dooku, angry at his failure to kill more than one Jedi master, has executed Jangos son. Furiously, the hunter storms out, denouncing the count, right before the arrival of another ship. The criminal warlord Vader had arrived to discus the possibility of allying himself with Dyas and Dooku, although the negotiations fall through and Vader decides to enter the war as his own faction, with almost the entire underworld.
What happens next is a full scale war, between the Republic, Dooku and Dyas's clone army, the three Jedi factions (now lead by masters Koon, Fisto and Gallia respectively), Vaders massive criminal army and finally the three Sith lords, each in control of there own droid army and fighting against each other more than against the others. On the eve of the wars fifth year, Mon Mothma releases an unprecedented offer to the many different factions: A chance to meet on Coruscant and attempt to talk out there differences. Although all the different leaders accept the offer, they make it no secret to there underlings that they plan to use this as a chance to do in the other leaders. However, things do not go as planned for the clone army's leaders. Before he can leave for the conference, Dooku is confronted by Sifo Dyas, who is tired of working with the older extremist. There heated argument gets out of hand, with them both drawing there blades. Dooku fights valiantly, but Sifo Dyas (unknown to the Count) had spent the last few years tailoring his style to beat Dookus. After a heated duel, Sifo stood victorious over the slain Count. However, realizing he could not contend with the Jedi and Sith by himself, Dyas contacts Vader (as well as his underling, the mysterious Togruta Tano) and forms an alliance with him to take down there foes. However, the nine warriors arrive at the meeting place on Coruscant to find Mon Mothma is off world. The nine leaders begin to argue, but they are cut off by the arrival of a tenth, mysteriously shadowed figure, who draws a green bladed lightsaber. Out of the shadows steps Jedi master...Quinlan Vos.
Surviving his ships crash years prior, Vos watched from the sidelines as the various factions teared the galaxy apart. Deciding to do something about it, Vos traveled the galaxy (and beyond) to learn of the best ways to defeat the various threats. After this, Master Vos contacted Mon Mothma and convinced her to set up this trap. Springing his first "trap", Vos points out to the three Jedi that there warring against each other was against everything the Order Stands for and what they believed in. Realizing he is right, the Jedi join together and join Vos, flanking him against the remaining six warlords. Bored of Vos's "ranting", Maul draws his blade and charges the Jedi. However, before he can attack, several blaster bolts flies out of the darkness and fell the Sith warrior. Then Vos's second "trap" reviles himself: Jango Fett, who allied himself with the Jedi master to put an end to the war that claimed his son. The meeting place then erupts into a furious duel, with the Jedi and Fett facing the others, while Vos goes head to head with Plagueis. The Sith lord laughs at the feeble Jedis attempts to attack the Sith, stretching out his hand to cause a mass die out of Midichloreans in Vos's body. However, the Jedi master stays standing and calmly explains his third "Trap": Knowing a confrontation with the dark Lord would be inevitable, he had traveled to the lost world of Tython and sought out the ancient shield techniques of the Barsen'thor, which nullified Plagueis's powers. The two re-engage, with Vos outmaneuvering the Sith at every turn, before fatally slicing the Muun's head off. Vos's victory is short lived, as he is next attacked by the even more powerful Darth Sidious. Despite the Jedis best efforts, he is pushed onto his back foot However, he unveils yet another surprise: a strange alien bio-tech weapon recovered from Zoma Skeot which stuns Sidious long enough for Jango to kill the Sith with a missile. Vos surveys the remaining fighters: Dyas has fled and Tano has been killed, but Vader fights on, killing Koon and fighting evenly with Fisto and Gallia. Drawing his blade, Vos joins the battle and reviles his final "trap": an understanding and mastery of all seven lightsaber forms. Vader is disarmed (literally), but he is not executed. Instead, Mon Mothma and a captured Sifo Dyas (apprehended by Republic forces) and the four leaders (Mothma, Vos, Dyas and Vader) are all brought together and, once"persuaded", they sign a peace galaxy: a Galaxy wide government was simply to big to be effective and un corrupt or dictatorial. From now on, the galaxy will have many different countries, the idea being that, although wars would be more common, they would be much less devastating and on a smaller scale.
Only time would tell if this new system would be effective but, for now, the ripples have stopped, and the Force and Galaxy are at peace.
