Savage Opress vs Rahm Kota

MARTIAL ARTS
Over the course of his life, Rahm Kota served many different causes, be it the Republic, Rebellion or Jedi. However, there is one consistent: his skill with the blade. Unlike most Jedi, Rahm Kota was an extremely aggressive and proactive Jedi, creating his own militia movement and practicing the seventh Form of Lightsaber combat. Naturally, Rahm Kota was mostly on the offensive, although he could erect a defense if need be. Compensating for his chosen forms weakness, Rahm Kota's skill was such that he could slice through waves of storm-troopers and even stalemate the exceedingly powerful Galen Marek, only being defeated through a combination of exhaustion and Marek's superior power in the Force. Skilled with a variety of other weapons and unarmed combat, Rahm Kota proved himself to be skilled in the gladiator arena, as well as more traditional combat fields. As the Jedi Order of Rahm Kota's time required that any Jedi mastering form seven have a good grasp on at least three other Forms, it is reasonable to believe that Rahm kota was experienced in multiple forms, if not all seven.

Unlike Anakin Skywalker, Savage Opress is deserving of the reputation of a brutish straightforwards warrior and little else. That being said, Savage Opress (Surprisingly) remained one of the most powerful darksiders of his age. Almost certainly a practitioner of Form seven. Juyo, Savage was always on the offense, his sheer size, brutality and power making up for his lack of refinement and defense. Although Count Dooku attempted to instruct him in the finer points of Form two, this rather obviously failed. Although other duelists, such as Ventress and Master Plo Koon, largely got the better of Savage Opress in combat, he has Driven Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker back at once, Killing the exceptionally skilled Jedi master Adi Gallia. as well as even holding his own (at least briefly) against the Dark Lord himself Darth Sidious. However, Count Dooku and Savage's own brother were capable of easily defeating him, the later can be explained with Dooku's established ability to easily defeat any of his apprentices, thanks to his familiarity with there fighting styles.

To be honest, there is really only one option against Savage Opress: Fighting defensively just prolongs the inevitable and when Darth Sidious himself falls back into the aforementioned defensive you can definitely count fighting offensively out. This really only leaves one option: be outright more skilled then him. Refinement and skill is really whats required to beat warriors of Savage's ilk. The problem here is that Rahm Kota has not displayed that kind of skill. Yes, he was capable of stalemating the extremely skilled Galen Marek, but thats basicly where his track record begins and ends. Savage has much more experience and proven capability, and since he has proven himself against even more powerful warriors. add to this Kota's preference for offensive style of attacks, basically the worst choice against Savage, and the Nightbrother gets the martial arts edge.

FORCE POWERS
Most of the time, when an edge is minor enough that it does not bear a more thorough look it is Weapons and armament, as Jedi and Sith alike generally wield very standard weapons. However, this time around it is the Force Powers category that receives this treatment. Neither warrior really has anything but basic telekinesis at there command, the only exception being Rahm Kota's Force sight, although this ability does nothing but compensate for his physical limitations. Now, since Savage opress has just as much refinement as Kota and, unsurprisingly, much MUCH more brute power, the Nightbrother secures this edge.

PHYSICAL SKILLS
Rahm Kota was a middle aged human male in extremely good condition, at least for a man of his years. Although he was an experienced war veteran with the many scars to prove it, Kota remained in the extreme physical condition that the Jedi were known for, surviving in a brutal arena battle for days on end without rest, which indicates an insane level of endurance. Due to wounds sustained during his battle against Vaders secret apprentice, Galen Marek, Kota was blinded when his eyes where seared by his own Lightsaber. However, although this temporarily caused him to fall to alcoholism and lose his connection to the Force, Kota eventually recovered and compensated for his lose of vision with Force Sight.

To put it bluntly, Savage Opress is in the running for the most physically powerful (without Force augmentation that is) warrior of the age, the moniker of "monster being given to him for a reason. Even before being transformed by Nightsister magic, Savage was a skilled unarmed fighter and strong acrobatic warrior. After his transformation, Savage was a nearly unstoppable beast of a duelist, who could power through waves of Clones, Droids and Jedi alike. All of this being said, Savage was not unbeatable physically speaking: he couldn't outright physically overwhelm his enemies like Grievous did and most warriors, such as Kenobi and Ventress, were able to overcome his strength advantage and get there own strikes in. Savage also had a cybernetic left arm.

It may not seem like it, but the physical edge is actually quite close. Yes, Savage Opress has a clear strength advantage and was fast enough to hold his own against Darth Sidious, but Rahm Kota survived three straight days in a gladiator arena (Which would indicate more than enough endurance to hold the Monster off) and stalemated Galen Marek in terms of speed. Although Kota is blind, I assume he was skilled in Force sight or a simmaller power as he was still capable of taking part in full scale combat situations. However, it should come as no surprise when Savage still gets the physical edge: I merely thought it important to point out  that the difference between these two is not as great as the one between Savage and, say, Adi Gallia.

WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
Rahm Kota, despite most defiantly not being a Jedi consular, was equipped with a emerald bladed Lightsaber, generally held in his back scabbard. Despite it's ornate design, it was a weapon of standard make. Kota also wore a suit of battle armor, although it did not offer any protection whatsoever against Lightsabers.

Although he originally wielded what amounted to a big stick, Savage Opress later replaced this with a much more practical saberstaff, although said weapon was of standard make. Savage also sported Dark Side armor that protected him from dozens of blaster hits, although Lightsaber could slice through it with ease.

Savage Opress's armor may not protect him from Lightsabers, but it is a lot tougher than Kota's more standard protective wear. This leaves the ever lasting debate about which weapon is inherently more practical: A standard Lightsaber of a Saberstaff? Here however, the point is moot, as Kota has no known experience against Saberstaffs, giving the weapon it's infamous shock value, which is a major advantage. Savage Opress gets the edge in weapons and Equipment.

THE VERDICT
This, quite honestly, is my favorite kind of versus match up. The characters aren't well known enough that the idea has been used a dozen times already, but there is still enough details on them to draw up a comprehensive set of statistics. With that being said, lets get on to the verdict itself: Although Savage Opress has been given literally every edge here, do not interpret  this as a curb stomp. For all we know, Kota could have experience with staff weapons, and even if he doesn't, it has been established that Saberstaffs can be defended from by people with no prior experience with the weapons. Although Savage towers over Kota, the later (again) has proven himself a warrior of a high enough caliber that he won't simply fall instantly to the Nightbrothers strikes. Similarly, Savage's advantage with the Force won't do much here, as neither of these are dedicated users of the supernatural. What really dose the Jedi general in here is the disparity in martial skill: Kota was proven to be on par with Galen Marek in the dueling arena, but Savage took on and held his own against even more impressive masters of the blade, with the Dark Lord himself beginning  included in that number. Anyone who drove Kenobi and Skywalker back at the same time has earned my respect. To sum up, Kota is an esteemed warrior for a very good reason, but Savage is a straight up MONSTER. I declare Nightbrother Savage Opress the winner.

Marka Ragnos vs Kyle Katarn

BIOGRAPHIES
Originally a Stormtrooper, later a Rebel mercenary and finally a respected Jedi battlemaster, Kyle Katarn was one of the most skilled Jedi in the new Order, instrumental in the Yuuzhan Vong war, Second Galactic Civil war and, earlier, stopping a wayward dark Jedi from resurrecting the fearsome ancient Sith lord, Marka Ragnoss, a powerful force of evil that lead the Sith Empire into it's golden era, even being feared thousands of years later. However, what if the ritual had succeeded, and the esteemed Jedi master found himself facing one of the darkest Lords of all time? That is what we are going to see today.

MARTIAL ARTS
The New Jedi Order's Battlemaster, Katarn was undoubtedly skilled with the blade, with his skill being well renowned. Although he primarily focused on Lightsaber Form five, Katarn had practical knowledge in all seven Lightsaber Forms. Katarn had a good deal of natural skill with the blade, defeating seven powerful dark jedi in a row with very little training. Later in life, Katarn's ultimate test of dueling skill arrived in the form of Darth Caedus. Although the Jedi Master managed to keep pace with the skilled Sith lord, Katarn was eventually defeated, although it was principally due to the Jedi master exposing himself to save a fellow Jedi. Katarn was also known to be a superior duelist to many of his compatriots, including Jaden Korr and Mara Jade, although the latter eventually surpassed him in my opinion.

although little beyond his infamous reputation is actually known about legendary Sith Lord Marka Ragnoss, beyond his leadership keeping the stagnite Sith Empire in a golden age for over a hundred years. Unlike future Sith, Ragnoss (and most of the Sith of his time) Chose to wield a Sith sword, as opposed to a Lightsaber, even though he remained practiced with the energy weapon as well. Although, if I remember correctly, the seven forms of Lightsaber combat were not created at this point, Ragnoss most likely dueled in a strong, wildly offensive style, as did most Sith.   Mostly known for his Force powers, Ragnoss was also a fearsome warrior, decapitating fellow Sith lord Simus in a duel and, via possession, held his own against Jaden Korr.

A rather clear cut edge. Kyle Katarn may or may not be top tier level, but he has been involved in some of the most brutal conflicts in galactic history, not to mention a well documented amount of extreme skill with a blade. On the converse, Ragnoss is hinted to be an extremely skilled warrior but he was mostly on par with Jaden Korr, who was below Kyle Katarn in skill level. From where I'm standing, there is little choice but to give Katarn the major edge in Lightsaber dueling and martial arts.

FORCE POWERS
Unlike most Jedi (new and old) Kyle Katarn had a much more liberal view on the Force, believing that no Force power is inherently evil, with it depending on the morality of the person using the powers instead. Thus Katarn was skilled in both Dark side skills like Force Lightning and Force Crush and Light side Force powers like Force absorb and Force healing. As with all Jedi Masters, he was also relatively highly skilled in telekinetic, telepathic and augmentative powers. All this said, Katarn's focused remained on his skills with the blade.

As previously mentioned, Marka Ragnoss was most infamous for his unparalleled strength in the Dark Side of the Force. A known Master of Sith magic, Marka Ragnoss has nethertheless not appeared enough to establish just how potent his abilities really are. However, it is obvious Mark Ragnoss was an exceedingly powerful wielder of the Dark Side, having the strength to preserve his spirit for thousands of years and several of his personal objects (Such as his scepter and tomb) having a good deal of residual power.

Much tougher to call then the first category, I fell something of a controversy here. Yes, every indication is that Ragnoss was a Sith of legendary power, being a grand scale master of Sith magic. However, he has very little in the way of actually demonstrated Force powers, and Sith magic (nine times out of ten) is extremely impractical and by and large ineffective in a pitched duel. Katarn, however, has more standard and low key powers, but remains a viable Force wielder nonetheless, bolstered by the duality of his powers. Thus, I give Kyle Katarn the edge in Force powers as well.

PHYSICAL SKILL
A roughly middle aged human male, Katarn is, on the surface, a pretty standard warrior. However, appearances can be deceiving and, although he was past his prime, Katarn remained extremely physically fit and tough, owing to his rigorous martial arts training. Katarn was also fast enough to keep pace with Darth Caedus.

Marka Ragnoss was a hybrid between a Sith pureblood and a human. This not only gave Ragnoss the distinctive appearance of the Sith race, but also made him stronger, tougher and more agile than normal beings. Although his exact age is unknown, it is known that he was well over one hundred years of age at the time of his death.

It is completely unknown how or even if Ragnoss was affected by his age and emersion in the Dark Side, although since I am using him from his physical prime, this point is moot. Katarn has displayed much more speed, Ragnoss is most likely just as agile and much stronger and tougher than the ageing human, thanks to his Sith blood. All in all, I would have to say the ancient Sith lord gets a signale edge here, although I wouldn't call Katarn out of the physical fight completely.

EQUIPMENT
For most of his life, Kyle Katarn was a mercenary and preferred the use of blasters. Once a Jedi Master however, he came to have a preference for his green bladed Jedi Lightsaber.

Marka Ragnoss wielded an ancient Sith sword that was embedded with several enhancements via alchemy and Sith magic. He could also conceal his weapon in his scepter.

No contest here. Lightsaber are quite possibly the most effective melee weapons from any series (except perhaps Thor's hammer) and are fare more viable tools than archaic swords. the Jedi Battlemaster secures yet another edge.

THE VERDICT
This battle suffers the same problem many prospective versus match ups face: A lack of information. We simply know next to nothing about Marka Ragnoss, barely enough to draw up a script about. On the converse, Kyle Katarn was the original Video game Jedi (before both Revan and Galen Marek) and has had many stories and opportunities to show his skill. Although he has clearly shown a good deal of strength with Sith magic, for reasons already outlined, Katarn has more diversity and skills at his hands. As far as martial arts goes, Katarn gets the clear edge, being one of the best duelists of his time and with a clear advantage over his opposition. Going further, Ragnoss may be physically imposing, but Katarn has faced enemies of relatively close to his build before, not to mention the possibility of Katarns blade breaking Ragnoss's, leaving him defenseless. All in all, although it would, admittedly, be an extremely hard fight on Katarns part, this battle ends with the Battlemaster adding another achievement to his track record. I declare Kyle Katarn the victor.

Obi-wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker VS Tholme/Sora Bulq

MARTIAL ARTS
An experienced Jedi master with the scares to prove it, Spymaster Tholme was a skilled warrior, despite his age. It has never been extrapolated, however, what his primary Form of Lightsaber combat is. On the one hand, he was extremely capable in unarmed combat, had a clear preference for physical strikes and acrobatics and his one time Apprentice, Quinlan Vos, was a known Master of Ataru, all implying that Tholme practiced Form four. On the other hand, his dueling style was described as fencing, his moves were quick, accurate and precise (implying Form two, Makashi), and Count Dooku himself complimented him on his skill with the blade, something he almost certainly would not have done if he primarily practiced Dooku's most detested Form. However, in the form of Master Ti, there is a president for the combination of both of these forms, and I am inclined to agree with Jensarai here and believe that this is what Tholme specializes in. When it comes to track records, Tholme is somewhat...under accomplished. Although he fared better than most, The Count still solidly outclassed the spymaster and both Vos and Sora Bulq himself forced him to resort to subterfuge and deception to survive, much less win. Tholme also studied combat and stealth under the Anzati assassins.

Widely known as "The Negotiator", Obi-wan Kenobi was most renowned for his wisdom and diplomatic skills. However, when push came to shove, Kenobi demonstrated himself to be one of the Jedi Order's greatest warriors. Originally a Master of Ataru like his Master before him, Kenobi later backed this up with practices in several other Forms, such as Shi Cho and even Sokan and Jerkai dual wielding. His most accomplished area, however, was with the third form of Lightsaber combat, Soresu, with greats such as Dooku and Mace Windu pegging him as the greatest master of the Form for his age, with a nigh impenetrable defense that stood up towards even the greatest Dark Siders of the day, although Kenobi remained skilled while on the offense as well. Master Kenobi was also quite tactically skilled, controlling most of his fights to his advantage through this understanding. From an early age Kenobi was an accomplished Sword-master, out-dueling Darth maul while still a Padawan, and even in his advancing age going head to head with the powerful Darth Vader. The greatest accomplishments in Kenobi's carrier was first perfectly defending himself from Grievous's several hundred blows a second offense (MANY times) Defeating Asajj Ventress on several occasions, Holding his own against a very ticked off Anakin Skywalker and finally going head to head with Dooku's brutally precise attacks and surviving.

Sora Bulq, more so than any of Dooku's other dark acolytes, is a perfect representation of the effects of the Dark Side, going from a respected and  skilled hero to a ballistic rage monster. As A Jedi battle master, Sora Bulq was an extremely skilled duelist, being involved in countless firefights, helping to create the advanced Vappad variation of Form seven and surviving the brutal battle of Geonosis. However, although he was capable of stalemating the extremely powerful Master Windu, Count Dooku proved himself to be a much better duelist than Sora, disarming him of his Shoto short-sword before subduing him with Force lightning. As A Dark sider, Sora's skill degraded even further, with his fighting style denigrating even further, to the point it was almost the completely defense less Juyo rather than the much more advanced Vappad. His brutally advanced offense remained however, with Sora noticeably able to relatively easily out-duel Spymaster Tholme, although his sadistic impulses and Tholme's skills with deception kept him from killing him outright. Sora Bulq also proved to be a match for the extremely skilled Jedi Master Quinlan Vos, with Vos forced to rely on mental boosts from his Jedi comrades to defeat the powerful Dark Jedi. Although the cover of A Star Wars: Republic issue depicts Sora dueling the Jedi Master Oppo Rancissis, this never actually happened in the comic itself. Although Vappad's effectiveness against Dark siders as apposed to normal opposition is debatable, this point is moot as Sora no longer truly practices this combat discipline and none of hie enemies here are Dark Siders.

Looking around on Youtube and other Star Wars forums, I have discovered a growing sentiment that Anakin Skywalker was little more than a brutish warrior, at his best when empowered by rage and with little going for him but raw strength. However, although Anakin did have some severe limitations, they were almost all due to a over-focus on martial arts above all else. Generally typified as being a Master of Dejem So and Dejem So alone, Anakin actually had a quite diverse skill set, Learning Nimen as a lesson in control, having enough mastery of Ataru to instruct a Apprentice in it as her main Form, and even being incredibly skilled in the rare ability of Dual wielding. While just a Padawan, Anakin showed obvious indications of great martial skill, proving more of a challenge for Count Dooku then even his Master, and defeating the extremely powerful Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress, which earned him the title of Jedi Knight. As a Jedi Knight (and later Sith Lord) Anakin proved himself to be an extremely skilled Master of the blade, defeating Cin Dralig, Barriss Offee, and many others. Anakin's performance against Kenobi in there final duel doesn't really count, as at that point the two were close enough they probably would have been able to duel each other with there eyes closed. The greatest argument against Anakin being little more than a thug with a blade comes in the form of dooku, who easily danced circles around both Savage Opress and Grievous (both of whom are much stronger than Anakin) but remained on equal footing with Anakin for the large part of the Clone Wars. Anakin is also not a better duelist when emotionally charged, as was clearly shown on Mustafar and against Ventress on Coruscant.

Out of these four, I would peg Anakin Skywalker as the strongest, most skilled contender here, especially if we base it off of there showings against Count Dooku, with Anakin being the only one who could truly be called his equal with the blade. Obi-wan Kenobi comes in a close second, able to stalemate the aforementioned Skywalker and having much more experience in the dueling arena. Tholme, despite initially fareing better against the Count than Sora Bulq did, takes up the rear, as Bulq went on to outclasses Tholme on several occasions. With both of the best duelists on the same team, Kenobi and Skywalker easily secure the first edge.

FORCE POWERS
Typifying the brutish warrior stereotype, Sora Bulq wasn't exactly a Master of the Force. Although he was skilled enough with Telekinesis to stagger Windu and could use it in suture with his blade-work, he never truly displayed an overwhelming amount of strength in this area. As far as other ability's go, Bulq demonstrated some skill with Force stealth, but no viable defense against Sith lightning. As far as we know, his telepathic and self augmentation skills were of average strength.

Although Anakin Skywalker was far from a simple minded brute given a Lightsaber, it is true he never realized his true Force potential, choosing to instead focus on his skills with a blade. Very adapt with telekinesis, Skywalker could match fully fledged masters with this skill, throw around heavy and large amounts of objects with ease and, when enraged, could break through opponents Force shields with consistent ease. Although his other powers were of the standard Jedi fare, Anakin did have some skill with precognition and Force Choke as well.

Although he was much more of a chess master than anything else, spymaster Tholme was still an extremely accomplished master of the Force. Although the power and magnitude behind his telekinetic powers was nothing special, the way he used them was with intelligence and great skill, making what he did have count. Tholme also had some knowledge and experience with the arcane, performing a healing trance on several occasions and being one of the most skilled individuals in the Force stealth technique.

An accomplished natural with the Force, Obi-wan Kenobi had earned a place on the Jedi High Council at the age of only 38. For comparison, it took Grandmaster Yoda 100 years just to become a Master, although that is an extreme example. Although his Force defense, especially against telekinesis, was infamously weak, Kenobi's own skill with the power was anything but, as he used both in and out of combat with ease and power. Kenobi was also experienced with Jedi mind tricks and many other common Force powers. His mastery of the Force was such that he lived on in the Force as a ghost after his death.

In terms of raw Force potential, Anakin far outstrips everyone else in this competition, as his full power, when truly brought to bare, proved a match for Yoda and Palpatine at the same time. However, this power was almost completely ignored, leaving both Tholme and Kenobi as his superior with the Force. Between those two, I would give the slight advantage to Kenobi, for higher levels of experience and power. Sora Bulq, unsurprisingly, brings up the rear with his comparatively sub-par supernatural ability's. When you add in Kenobi and Skywalker's ability to work together and combine there Force powers, and the advantage once again shifts towards Anakin and Obi-wan, giving them the second edge as well.

PHYSICAL SKILLS
Bearing the moniker "The Human Tank" (At least among the fan-base) Obi-wan Kenobi is well known for his great amount of physical endurance, constitution and tolerance for pain, surviving being rag-dolled with the Force (repeatably), various Lightsaber wounds, many MANY physical beatings, being tortured for months on end, nearly being poisoned to death, etc. bouncing back with comparatively little recovery time. Although his other physical attributes were pretty much completely standard, Kenobi's endurance should not be underestimated.

Although his exact age remains unknown, it is obvious that he is well passed his prime, sporting advanced gray hair, wrinkles and the other markings of seniority. Despite this, Tholme remained an active warrior (when he actually got involved in combat that is) and he had a strong preference for acrobatics and physical strikes. Due to his training under the Anzati, Tholme was also an extremely capable unarmed combatant. Due to injuries sustained against Count Dooku, Tholme also had a cybernetic replacement for a crippled leg.

As previously mentioned, Anakin Skywalker was well known throughout the Jedi Order for his great physical strength, although beings such as Savage Opress and Grievous easily outclassed him in this regard. However, Anakin also remained A extremely quick and acrobatic warrior, keeping pace with the fastest duelists of his time and being a strong proponent of Ataru style fighting. Due to the lose of his original limb, Anakin Skywalker also had a cybernetic right fist, giving him an obvious advantage in unarmed combat.

Sora Bulq was A Weequay male, of undetermined age. Although we could probably make a rough guess at his actually age, it would be rather pointless as Bulq is an alien, and thus ages differently than us Humans. Regardless of his actual age, Sora Bulq was a reasonably strong and reasonably fast warrior, able to keep pace with many other warriors well known for there speed. As A Weequay, Sora Bulq's skin and constitution were much greater than a normal sentient being, allowing him to take much more damage and resist a wide variety of weapons, but not Lightsabers.

Physically, Bulq is the most viable warrior here, his inherit physical advantages giving him an advantage over the others. Following close behind him is Anakin Skywalker, with his cybernetic right hand and younger, stronger physique giving him an advantage. Right behind Skywalker is Kenobi who, despite his slightly advanced age, has an incredible amount of endurance and just as much speed and unarmed viability. Bringing up the rear is Tholme, the oldest warrior here and the one most hampered by other physical aspects, specifically his robotic leg. However, I believe that Tholme remains physically viable enough that Bulq's superior physical strength can be brought to bear, tieing things up. No physical advantage will be given.

EQUIPMENT & WEAPONS
Unsurprisingly, any edge in equipment is minor at best. Tholme may be adapt with many bladed weapons due to his Anzati training, but most of the time the only weapon he carries is his standard green bladed Jedi lightsaber. In A similar vane, Kenobi and Skywalker only dual wield when given the chance which, due to only having there single blue bladed Lightsaber, they don't really have here. The only advantage anywhere here is Sora Bulq, with his red bladed Lightsaber and Shoto, giving the first edge to Tholme and Bulq.

THE VERDICT
The similarities between these two teams are self evident: A respected Master known for there wisdom as well as there combat prowess, and A Former hero of the Order fallen to the Dark and becoming one of it's greatest threats. However, upon further examination, many stark differences appear. Unlike Sora Bulq, who devolved into little more than a vessel of pure rage, Anakin Skywalker may have appeared to be nothing more but a straightforward warrior but was in fact one of the most martially accomplished Jedi of the age. Skywalker's Force powers put Bulq's to shame, and Bulq's superior physicality won't same him from a Lightsaber strike, which is likely to happen as, by all indications, Skywalker is the superior duelist as well. Spymster Tholme, on the other hand, doesn't even have that going for him: He is a Master of deception, NOT combat. His supernatural skills might keep him alive for a while, But Kenobi's greatly superior ability with the blade and much better physical condition means this battle will play out pretty much exactly as Tholme's battle with Quinlan Vos did, with the Spymasters best bet being faking his death and escaping, which is NOT a victory. If we switch combatants, Tholme and Bulq fare even worse: Anakin is almost specialized for refined masters such as Tholme (thanks to Dooku, of all people) and Bulq's blindly offensive attacks will play directly into Kenobi's hands. The final nail in the coffin is when there effectiveness as a team is considered: Tholme and Bulq were, at best, just fellow Jedi before Bulq's fall, and any chance of them working together effectively after that is very unlikely, to say the least. Kenobi and skywalker on the other hand were practically brothers by the end of the Clone Wars, there teamwork so unified that I, personally, believe them working together to be a very real threat up to and including Grandmaster Luke Skywalker. Thus, just about anyway you slice it, I declare Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker the winners.

Even Piell vs Ki-adi Mundi (NR)

MARTIAL ARTS
Jedi master Even Piell, when combined with Master Yaddle, provides something of a mirror image of Grand master Yoda. Whereas Yaddle perfectly represents his peaceful nature and strength in the Force, Master Piell represents his combat hardiness and martial prowess. Unlike most Beings of his stature, Even Piell did not rely entirely on Form four, instead mastering all Seven Lightsaber Forms and, unusually, combining them into a personal and highly varied fighting style. Even Piells fighting style was marked by Broad, sweeping strikes, blast deflection, acrobatics, fighting multiple enemies at once and, in general, a mixture of just about every Lightsaber battle tactic know. As such, Even Piell was a skilled warrior with the scars to prove it. Although he has never been depicted in a serious Lightsaber duel, Master Piell has fought on battlefronts such as Malastare, Geonosis and Lola Sayu and proved his worth as one of the toughest and most skilled members of the Jedi Order, for his day anyways.

Ki-adi Mundi is something of a overlooked character, with many others having much more popularity than the Ceran. However, this is not to say that he is worth overlooking, far from it. Although not the most powerful Council member, he was basicly third in command of the Order and a Skilled warrior. Although he was a Master of Form four, Ataru, Master Mundi's application of the Form was much more similar to the grounded practice used by Qui-gon Jinn rather than the typical flamboyancy demonstrated by other form Four masters. Also unlike most Form four users, he had no problem with blast deflection or facing multiple opponents. Despite his advanced age, Master Mundi remained an extremely capable warrior, fighting on the frontlines of Geonosis (twice) as well as many other engagements. Ki-adi Mundi was no less skilled in single combat, forcing a retreat from Asajj Ventress and even surviving an exhausted encounter with the fearsome cyborg general Grievous.

Even Piell suffers from the same syndrome that many other characters, including Bultar Swan and basically everyone from the New Sith Wars, suffer from as well: as a Master of a hybridization of all seven Lightsaber forms, one would assume he was an extremely skilled martial artist and warrior, but he has never been given the chance to demonstrate whether or not this is true: having never been involved in a serious Lightsaber duel (or one of any kind for that matter) we truly don't know if he is as effective in this arena as he is in battlefield combat, or if he is absolute rubbish. Ki-adi Mundi on the other hand has demonstrated himself to be an extremely underrated combatant, with several impressive feats under his belt. On paper, Even Piell is the superior warrior, but in practice Master Mundi far outrips him in deomstrated skill. Thus, the ageing Ceran gets the edge in martial arts.

Due to the amounts of requests I have, this battle is currently canceled.

Trek Wars script

Greetings viewers, fellow Star Wars fans and fellow Trekkies!
This is Hondo Moonrazor here, with an important update
In the never ending Trek Wars debate, I have officially changed by support...
From Star Wars...
To Star Trek
(Waits for outcry to die down)
Now, let me explain
This ONLY applies to cannon space combat, NOT land battles or Legends space combat
In Legends, individual Star Wars ships pack more than enough punch/tech to match single Trek ships
Not to mention the ridiculous amount of super weapons...
And on land, Trek simply doesnt have the number of ground troops...
Or any armored vehicles...
Or any true answer to the Jedi...
To even compete, much less win
In Star Wars/Trek CANON however...
Star Wars ships simply don't have the weapons...
Or defenses...
Or speed...
Or even numbers...
To stand much of a chance against the overwhelming might brought to bare by the Federation
Although to be fair, it is a contest between 6 movies, 2 tv shows...
and 12 movies, 6 tv shows
But anyways, Yes, if we just stay with the official Canon...
You can count me as a Trekkie! (screw you, ISD.com)
I would also like to take this opportunity for another announcement I need to make:
Apologies to Redshirtguy96, Idamiz7 and any other Trekkies.
I am NOT sorry I supported Star Wars, as I truly believed it was the proper choice at the time
However, that does NOT excuse me being...Uh, how shall I put it?
A pompous, stuck up, flame war starting, idiotic little jerk faced arse?
Yeah, that would about cover it
To put it shortly, I was BARELY better than the likes of ISD.com
And that is EASILY the biggest regret I have ever had during my Youtube career
So again, man many MANY apologies to everyone (especially Idamiz7) for my actions
With the apology and update out of the way, theres nothing else to say but:
May the Force be with you...
And may you live long and prosper!

Fallen heroes VS Purge victims

MARTIAL ARTS
Jedi master Depa Billaba, as the Apprentice of Master Windu, was a advanced martial artist with a good deal of skill, even for a Jedi of the age. Master Billaba was one of the very few masters of the arcane Vappad form of Lightsaber combat. A variation of the seventh Form of Lightsaber combat, Vappad was a unique and advanced form of combat and state of mind, based around allowing oneself to give in to there enjoyment of battle and feeding off of there own inner darkness. Although she wasn't a master of the Form to the same extent Mace Windu was, Depa Billaba was still extremely skilled with the style, actually fighting Windu to a stand still using it. As was the requirement for learning both variations of Form seven for that era of Jedi, Depa Billaba was most likely a Master of all seven Lightsaber forms, with Form three, Soresu, being mentioned as a specialty of hers, with her Padawan, practicing it almost exclusively.

While a Jedi Padawan, Barriss Offee used the same Lightsaber form as her master, a highly advanced practice of Form three Soresu. As such, she was extremely skilled in blast deflection and fighting multiple opponents, showing a good degree of skill with these abilities, despite her comparatively low status in the Order. Although she was never involved in a serious Lightsaber battle while a Jedi, once she had fallen to the Dark Side she not only soundly defeated the skilled Ahsoka Tano, but also managed to put in a good performance against Anakin Skywalker, a truly impressive feat as Skywalker was one of the most skilled warriors of his age. Barriss also had practical knowledge in Jerkai dual wielding.

As the apprentice of both Jedi Masters Micah Giiett and Plo Koon, Bultar Swan was a dedicated martial artist, her first Master fostering her interest in the practice, while her second instructing her in the art of Lightsaber combat. Before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Bultar Swan used her mastery of unarmed combat to end conflicts quickly and without bloodshed, with Swan carrying the impressive record of never killing an enemy. Combing both Teras Kasi and the Verdanaian sliding hands, as well as instruction from Anoon Bondara, Swan's movements appeared to be slow and measured, when in reality it was a sequence of complicated moves to fast for a normal eye to track. With the outbreak of the Clone wars however, Swan pragmatically began using her Lightsaber much more often, her skill allowing her to survive engagements on Geonosis, Amaltanna and Aargonar, as well as Order 66. Although the Star Wars character encyclopedia pegs Bultar Swan as the one who defeated and disarmed Vader on Kessel, the actual Purge comic displays her only entering the battle after Vader was already disarmed and wounded. Although her true form is unknown, I believe Swan practiced Soresu, in keeping with her mindset and descriptions of her fighting style.

Very little is known about Koffi Arana in general and his fighting style in particular. What little was shown of him in "Purge" did no indicate anything except a startling lack of defense, with Vader constantly outmaneuvering and outfighting him. This most likely places him as a user of Ataru or Juyo. However, he did survive Order 66, implying at least some degree of skill.

I, personally, would peg Bultar Swan as the best martial artist out of these four. However, this only applies to unarmed combat, and in the dueling arena Depa Billaba far outstrips Swan in terms of both skill and effectiveness, as Swan has never been involved in a serious Lightsaber battle whereas Billaba fought against Windu on close to equal footing. Whats more, Offee also gets an advantage over Swan with (again) a greater amount of experience and demonstrated combat prowess. Koffi, despite being a fully fledged Jedi Master, is easily the weakest martial artist here, as the only thing we know about his martial skill is that he kind of sucks. Whats more, teamwork won't play a part here either: Swan and Koffi have worked together before, but there outlooks and strategy's are almost completely different, and although Billaba and Offee have never met (to our knowledge), Offee does work well with others and they are Master and Padawan (just not to each other). Unsurprisingly, the Fallen Heroes get the edge in Martial arts.

FORCE POWERS
Although to the fans Depa Billaba is most widely known for her skill with the blade (as are most masters of Vappad) In-universe, she gained her greatest fame and a seat on the Jedi High council due to her deep, spiritual connection with the Force. An expert in such spiritual applications of the Force, Master Billaba was often sought out for her wisdom and clarity, although this couldn't saver her from her fall to the Dark Side. This being said, this connection did not apparently afford her with any outstanding practical ability's, with her telekinesis, telepathy and self augmentation reaming at the level of a Standard Jedi knight.

Despite being a mere Padawan, Barriss Offee has displayed a nearly amazing level of skill with the Force. First and foremost, her telekinesis was surprisingly advanced, as not only could she lift many heavy objects, but she was also very skilled at using it against other Force wielders, even staggering Skywalker with this power. Her greatest area of skill, however, was with Force healing. Offee could also use Dark side powers like Force choke.

Although she was undeniably skilled in combat, Bultar Swan still embodies the stereotypical Jedi Guardian (assuming that actually is her class) in that she focuses almost completely on martial arts and skill with a Lightsaber far above her skill with the supernatural. However, this is not to say she was a novice with the Force: Her Force enhanced speed was noted on several occasions and her skill with telekinesis and telepathy were reasonable, using the latter to consistently tell when she was being lied to. Swan was also noted for her traditional Jedi views (seeing the Order as her home) and for her calm and peaceful demeanor, staying true to the Light even in the midst of war or the Jedi Purge. In the end, I must agree with Plo Koon's assessment that if she had lived long enough, Swan would have almost certainly gained a seat on the High Council.

As he was a Jedi master, we can assume that Koffi Arana was at least reasonably powerful with the standard Jedi Force powers. However, at the very least his Force defense was subpar, as he was unable to protect himself from a flying sword.

The character who undoubtedly gets the edge in Force powers is (at least to me) actually quite surprising: Barriss Offee. Despite her comparatively low status, she has shown significantly more diversity and magnitude with the supernatural, especially with telekinesis. Although both Depa Billaba and Bultar Swan are much farther along the path to enlightenment than the other two, this does not actually afford them any more powerful or potent abilities than the norm, placing them both in the number two spot, directly behind Offee. And once again bringing up the rear is Koffi Arana, with his slightly sub-par Force defense. At the end of the day, with Billaba matching Swan and Koffi and with Offee ragdolling them both, the Fallen Heroes secure a second edge.

PHYSICAL SKILLS
Master Billaba was a member of the Chalactan race, a near-human species with very little differences from the normal sentient, beyond there spiritual nature and cultural markings on there faces. Billaba in particular was not only quick on her feet and acrobatic (being able to keep pace with an admittedly wounded Mace Windu) but also had a staunch constitution and tough physical shape.

Barriss Offee was a young female Mirialan, around twenty one years of age. As with all Jedi, she was stronger and faster than normal sentient beings, although this was due to her extensive physical training, not any inherent advantages of her species.

Bultar Swan was a female human of slim build, hailing from the planet Kaut, although she considered the Jedi Order to be her home. Swan was noted for her swift combat style, with her fighting Form (and Swan herself) commonly described as graceful and athletic.

A roughly middle aged Human male originally from Turkana, Koffi Arana had no outstanding physical attributes, beyond the enhanced speed, strength and awareness all Jedi are known for.

There is very little difference between any one of these four fighters. Because there is so little difference in physical skill between any of these, no edge will be given for physical skills.

EQUIPMENT
As there is very little difference in terms of weapons and armament, I will just be hurrying through this edge. In terms of there Lightsabers, Depa Billaba and Bultar Swan wield emerald blades, while Barriss Offee (who is being given her own weapon for this fight) and Koffi Arana wield sapphire blades, and since they are all standard Jedi Lightsabers there is no advantage anywhere here. Both Swan and Koffi wore armor towards the end of there lives, but since they couldn't stop a melee blade, I doubt they would do any good against A Lightsaber blade. All things considered equal, the Fallen Heroes and Pure Victims are equals in terms of equipment.

THE VERDICT
Unfortunately, this battle is rather one sided, with the main influence behind me doing this battle being the chance to use Bultar Swan, one of my favorite Jedi. Speaking of which: Swan and Barriss can be considered roughly equals. Swan's greater amount of experience and skill in martial arts would go a long way to making up for the discrepancy in Force skills between the two. What's more, although Offee is the slightly better Lightsaber duelist, it is not by a wide enough margin that Swan would be completely outclassed. However, I have no illusions about Swans chance against Depa Billaba: A leading member of the Jedi council and master of Vappad, a fight between the two would be short and brutal, with Billaba emerging the decisive victor. As for Koffi...yeah, I really don't have to go into much detail. Blinded by his rage and frustration, the less than esteemed Jedi master would prove little more than a distraction for a warrior of Billaba's caliber, and even Offee would have a pretty good chance of defeating him. Yeah, my apologies for the rather quick verdict, I just don't have much to say. Neither Koffi or (to a much lesser degree) Swan really have enough showings to go into great detail, and in response I was forced to cut back on my covering of Offee and Billaba, as I didn't want things to seem to one sided. As a Jedi master and dedicated martial artist respectively, both of whom were skilled enough to escape Order 66, I am sure if we had more information on the Purge Victims they would prove to be worthy opponents. But, in the end, we simply don't so I declare the fallen heroes, Barriss Offee and Depa Billaba, the winners.

Yoda vs Jedi (Shaak Ti, Yaddle, Adi Gallia)

MARTIAL ARTS
I may have a much lower opinion of Yoda's combat skills than most, but since he is mostly considered the greatest warrior from the entire series, that isn't exactly hard. An undoubtedly skilled sword master, Yoda mastered all seven forms of Lightsaber combat and I have little doubt that in his younger days he used all seven freely and in hybridization. However, in his advancing age Yoda's flagging physical shape (the idea of him wielding Djem So for example is almost laughable) and unwillingness (it is implied that before Geonosis Yoda mostly stopped using his blade, period) forced him to scale back his martial prowess, becoming a user of Form four Ataru exclusively, apart from one brief instance in the Attack of the Clones comic adaption. Although this remained a very effective tactic against entire armies, it was much less practical against single opponents, as a combination of his stature and fighting style forced him to work twice as hard to accomplish half as much. That being said, Yoda remained one of the best duelists of his age, forcing Count Dooku to flee twice, and even possibly disarming Darth Sidious (although it is just as possible Sidious willfully put away his blade and secured the high ground to use his Force powers).

Jedi master Yaddle was something of a mirror image to Master Yoda: they both had the reputation of peaceful scholars, but unlike Yoda, Yaddle remained one in a combat situation, instead of Yoda's martial paciest take on thing. However, this is not to say Yaddle was useless in a combat situation: she fought bravely against the warlord Tulak's forces, in defense of the Jedi temple during the Yinchorri crisis, as well as during the missions to Asmeru and Malastare. Although it is not necessary for beings of short stature to use Ataru exclusively (Even Piell being a good example), it is the preferred method for such beings, Yaddle included. the few battles she was involved in clearly depict her with a strong preference for acrobatics. Yaddle has never (to our knowledge) been involved in a serious Lightsaber duel.

Yoda may have, in my opinion, some severe limitations in single combat (most of which aren't his fault, to be fair.) but these do not hold over to group combat, where Master Yoda has demonstrated extreme levels of competence, only rivaled by the very best of the Jedi Order. Although his fighting style is not built for engaging a single warrior, his extremely mobile and acrobatic Form would serve him well here. Adi Gallia, and to a much lesser degree Yaddle, are certainly skilled martial artists, but even working together they won't survive more than a few minutes against Yoda's speed-blitz (and that's is a very high end estimate). Ti, however, would stand a much better chance: She isn't quite a top tier, but she would pose a major challenge to one, and it is possible her compatriots would distract and/or wind Yoda enough she would emerge victorious. However, for once, I believe the most likely martial outcome would be the Grand master's overwhelming offense overwhelming his opponents. Yoda gets a slight edge in martial arts.

FORCE POWERS
Beyond a shadow of A doubt, Yoda is most widely renowned for his skill in the Force (he DID basically spend eight hundred years meditating on it). First and foremost, his skill with telekinesis was nigh unrivaled for his age: He could manipulate almost entire armies at a time, manipulate droid drop ships, challenge Darth Sidious in this regard and easily break though Force users Force shields. His skill with Force Valor remains one of the highest in the saga, elevating him from a near cripple (more on that later) to a blur of motion. He was also very knowledgeable in the more arcane, being highly skilled with illusions, Battle Meditation and Tutaminis. He also achieved the penultimate Force ability, living on in the Force after his death, effectively becoming immortal. All this being said, Yoda's focus remains on grand displays and the more enlightened aspects of the Force, his skill in one on one combat suffering as a result. All his truly effective ability's required A good deal of concentration and focus, with little beyond the basic Jedi skills remaining viable options in the heat of battle.

Despite being in her youth (for her species anyways), Yaddle was an incredible master of the Force. As previously mentioned she was mostly a scholar, although she still retained a high degree of practical powers. First and Foremost, she was one of the very few known masters of Morichro, a power allowing her to directly disable or even kill enemies mentally and effectively, with there being very few known defenses. In general, Yaddle focused on Ancient and dangerous techniques, even being able to absorb planet destroying level attacks, although it cost her her life.

Strangely, considering this is Yoda's area of expertise, this category is where the team really starts pulling ahead. The Grand master may have a good deal more magnitude  (actually, that is somewhat debatable. For example, Shaak Ti was pretty much able to change all of Felucia to a Light Side area, while Yoda's presence on Dagobah was negligible) but the simple fact is that he won't or can't bring this to bear in a Lightsaber duel. Any impressive displays of Force powers on his part require him to stop fighting and concentrate, with the Jedi master being regressed back into simple Force pushes, if that. On the converse, none of his opponents have any such limitations, employing there powers freely and without limitations. Due to her peaceful nature, it's likely Yaddle would actually withdraw from the duel entirely, hanging back and simultaneously defending her allies while attacking Yoda with Morichro. Add to this Ti's own power in the supernatural, and the Jedi team takes a massive edge. Well, two of them do.

PHYSICAL SKILL
A member of an unknown species, Yoda was an ageing male, well over eight hundred years old, and as such suffered many degeneration's, including a near crippling amount of arthritis. Although it has been implied that his use of a hover chair and cane to get around in non-combat situations were just to display a deceptive appearance of frailty, Yoda is still very near his death, and without Force Valor I don't really see him even taking part in a serious Lightsaber duel, much less to the speed-blitz level he has demonstrated. In the end, I must agree with the fringe crowd, as in I am of the opinion that Yoda can only remain a viable warrior for the few minutes that his Valor and stamina will allow him, before he would collapse in exhaustion.

Yaddle was a relatively young, female member of Yoda's species, being only 400 years old. Despite her preference for study and a peaceful existence, Yaddle still displayed the enhanced physical speed, strength and awareness the Jedi are famous for.

Needless to say, the physical advantage is firmly on the side of the Jedi team here. Yoda is much faster than Yaddle and Adi Gallia, but not Shaak Ti, or at least not to the point she wouldn't be capable of keeping pace with him. In addition, all three team members FAR outstrip Yoda in terms of non enhanced physical strength, endurance, stamina, etc. Thus, the Jedi team gets another edge.

WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
Despite it's modern aesthetics, Yoda's Lightsaber is actually one of the most ancient of the series, being constructed while Yoda was still a Youngling and used ever since (when he carried a Lightsaber that is). It's hilt was short enough to be considered a Shoto short sword, while it's emerald green blade signified Yoda's status as a powerful Jedi Consular. Otherwise, it was unremarkable in it's make.

Yaddle, unusually, wielded an orange bladed Lightsaber, although it's technical make was completely standard. Unlike other beings of her size, Yaddle wielded a blade of normal length, despite her stature.

Do I really need to further explain this? Yoda has a single Shoto, versus three Lightsabers. Its not decisive, but the Jedi team easily gets the edge in equipment.

THE VERDICT
Somehow, I think you can all guess which side wins this battle, but I shall explain anyways. Yoda is, hand down, not only one of the most powerful Jedi of his age, but of all time. However, as I said about Luke Skywalker, very powerful is not all powerful. He may be a match for any one of these Jedi, but together, these three could pose a serious threat to almost any warrior, much less a comparatively limited Master of old. Yes, the Grand masters incredible offensive would immediately put the entire team on it's back foot, breaking through all but Ti's defense in a short span of time. However, this scenario is only likely to take out Gallia as, as previously mentioned, Yaddle's inclination against combat would place her outside the battle arena, boosting her allies and weakening Yoda. The Grand master would be to caught up with his other targets to attack her martially and any Force attacks he could muster up would be shunted aside or absorbed. At this point, this battle would become a waiting game, with Yoda finding it increasingly hard to keep going, due to a combination of his opponents skill and his own physical failings. At this point, the best case scenario for Yoda is that he manages to muster a final burst of either Force valor or a Push, and subdues Ti. However, this would leave an exhausted and worn down Yoda facing down the almost completely fresh Jedi Master Yaddle. Yaddle may not be able to compete with a Fresh Yoda in the dueling arena (largely due to a lack of showing on her part, rather than a lack of skill) by any means, but a Yoda in similar condition to how he was after facing Palpatine (largely due to Ti's skill and Yaddle's Morichro) I find little doubt that such a revered Master as Yaddle would be able to dispatch, or at least force a retreat, from the venerated Master. This victory is an easy one for the Jedi team, not in that it would be a short conflict (far from it) but in that there are very few scenarios where they don't emerge victorious in some form or another. After all, Shaak Ti is easily compared to the likes of Kenobi and Windu, Adi Gallia is almost completely equal in terms of skill with Qui-gon Jinn, and what little we have seen of Yaddle indicates a Master of the Force only challenged by Yoda himself. In short, any one of these Jedi would be defeated by Yoda in single combat (with the exception of Shaak Ti who, in my opinion, actually stands a pretty good chance of defeating him) but when you put all three together it becomes incredibly unfair for the single Jedi master (although to be fare, there are very few beings I believe capable of signaling all three at once). I am going to get in A LOT of trouble for this, but I believe the Jedi team a solid six to seven victories out of ten. Thus, although Yoda would give as good as he's got, I declare Jedi masters Adi Gallia, Yaddle and Shaak Ti the winners.
