Star Wars Legends scenario

SETUP
The year is 2016. With the new Disney movies premiering, Star Wars Legends and it's vast storylines have largely fallen by the wayside. However, Lucasfilm is not ready to let there massive Universe just die off. In this hypothetical scenario, they Hire someone, be it me or you, to direct another nine novel series, something of a sequel to Legacy of the Force and Fate of the Jedi, to tie up as many loose ends as possible. What will you do? When would it be set? Who would feature? What would you clarify, and what would you leave ambiguous? Will it be a cohesive nine part story or three trilogies, or some other variation? I can only guess what you would do, but here is my answer.

Because Lucasfilm apparently lost there collective sanity, a certain 18 year old Jonathan to take charge of the Star Wars Legends finale, despite never doing anything to deserve it, but moving on. Realizing it was a fools errand to write all nine novels by himself, even if he was an professional novelist, he instead hires three other writers to actually bring the story to page: A veteran Star Wars author, a author who has never written for Star Wars before, and a author who has a undecided level of experience, but with one specific requirement: A preference for the Dark Side and Sith over the Jedi. With this diverse trio, he sets out to bring the Legends finale, now titled "Fall of the Sith", to a largely uncaring and apathetic audience. Oh well, at least I would enjoy it.

SHADES OF REVENGE (written by the Sith fan)
As the New Jedi Order is by far and away the most covered EU era with the richest history, it is decided that Fall of the Sith will take place 15 years after Crucible. Luke, Leia, Jaina, Ben and Allana all play major roles, although the ageing Han Solo passed away several years before the series begins. The first novel, however, primarily focuses on Vestara Khai, who is still traveling the Galaxy in search of Sith allies. The first novel is spent creating the setting, establishing various things such as the Galactic Alliances negotiations with the newly discovered Jerom species, Ben training Allana as his apprentice and the rise of the shadowy crime lord "Triclopse". The main storyline is on Khai arriving on Korriban eventually discovering and awakening Darth Kots, a infamous warlord from the New Sith wars, and his followers, the two Darksiders joining forces.

LONG LOST (written by the rookie)
The second novel switches to a full on focus on Ben Skywalker, now a Jedi master on the Council, and his apprentice Allana Solo as they lead a archaeological expedition to the ancient, poisoned world of Tython. There however, they encounter not only the many threats from the ruined planet itself, but also a team of Darth Kots followers, there to find ancient Jedi artifacts. By the end of the novel, the Sith have been defeated, the Jedi warned about there return under a mysterious Dark Lord, and Allana is granted the title of Jedi Knight.

MISSING ANGELS (written by the veteran)
Just guessing here, but this is the novel that truly steps things up. While Allana visits her aunt in the Empire, Ben joins his father and Leia in the negotiations with the Jeron, which are being actively sabotaged by the Triclopse. The Jedi barely manage to stop the outbreak of a full on war, only for the arrival of Vestara Khai to throw things into disarray again. The lady of the Sith claims the right to take part in the discussion, as a representative of a third party, the Sith. The temporary "cold war" boils over when the criminals return and Kots betrays Vestara and has his men mortally wound her. However, Leia has a vision that explains if Vestara dies now, so will Allana and the galaxy will fall into darkness. Sacrificing herself to heal Vestara, Leia goes on to the Force and her husband, while a remorseful Vestara joins Ben to track down Darth Kots.

ONCOMING STORMS (written by the rookie)
Taking a break after the last novel, this is a comparatively minor story. It depicts Allana visiting with Jaina  who, after coming under many assassination attempts, has began the creation of the Imperial Knights. The novel also shows Luke briefly stepping down from the role of Grandmaster to better pursue the hidden Sith. Eventually, the two Solo women finalize the Knights and discover that the many assassins were hired by a political rival from the forces of Triclopse. Meanwhile, Darth Kots meets with the shadowed Triclops, who reveals himself to be Force sensitive and joins the Sith as his new allie.

FALLEN ORDER (written by the veteran)
While the main characters (now including Jaina and Allana continue to search for the Sith and Triclops, the Jedi High Council, containing new and old characters, makes there own plans. Many different masters share the spotlight in this novel, discovering Darth Kots origins and defeating several groups of Sith and Criminals. Finally, the novels finale hits, with the Jedi storming there enemies stronghold on Korriban, forcing the Sith to flee and finally discovering Triclops identity, something they immediately inform Luke of: Ken, Palpatines grandson.

DYING QUEST (written by the Sith fan)
While the others continue there pursuit of the only two remaining Sith (Darth Kots and Triclops), Luke goes on his own quest to discover what happened to the former Jedi Prince. After disappearing from the Galaxy at large, Ken and his father jumped from planet to planet, until the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, which claimed the life of Kens father. Angered at the Jedis failure to stop this, Ken had forsaken his real name and embraced his heritage, becoming extremely powerful and taking over the underworld, hiding in the shadows for decades. Returning to the others, the Jedi continue there pursuit, unsure of where the Sith where trying to go. Meanwhile, the Siths alliance falls apart, with Triclops killing Darth Kots after a lengthy duel. However, Kots spirit takes over the uncontrolled Darksider, using him to further his plans.

FORCE SLAYER (written by the veteran)
Lets get this out of the way: Luke dies in this series. As the main character for...Star Wars, his death simply can't be glossed over off screen. With that cleared up. The four Jedi finally figure out the Sith's objective: to achieve immortality by traveling to the Midichlorians homeworld and immersing himself in the Force. Despite the Jedis best efforts, a Darth Kots possessed Triclops makes it to the planet, disappearing into its depths. Luke orders the others to stay behind while he, after being given a amulet from Tython as a last gift from his son, sets off after him. After making his way through many traps and deceptions, Luke finally finds the rouge Sith lord. However, the Sith lords attempts to speak to Darth Sidious to gain his secret of immortality, instead kills him, while summoning a dark shadow presumed to be Palpatine. Uniting with the spirits of many dead Jedi, Luke battles the Shadow to a stalemate, before trapping him in the Netherworld, held there by his amulet. However, the effort was to much for the aged Master, who peacefully passes into the Force after a full life.

RELUCTANT QUEEN/ECHOES (written by the Sith fan/rookie)
But wait, theres more! The last two novels deviate somewhat from the other novels story: A year later, Allana is still haunted by her Uncles death, the cause of which remains largely unknown, with only the Amulet being returned after Darth Kots defeat. While meditating in her personal starship (while in possession of the Amulet) Allana accidentally falls into a deep trance, setting her ships Hyperspace on random. She wakes up and quickly realizes she has arrived far away from her first definition. In fact, she was in an entirely different Galaxy. There, she discovers the populace suppressed by a powerful Dark Side empire and King, who doubles his power after stealing Allana's amulet. After her attempts to return home fail, she joins the rebellion against the Dark Side King. Finally confronting him in one on one combat, the Force reviles a secret to the Skywalker desindit: the shadow Luke battled was not Palpatine, but the Dark Side itself. Realizing the implications, Allana almost sacrifices herself to destroy the amulet, the feedback killing the Dark Side King. Unsure of what her and her Uncles efforts had truly accomplished (the heavily damaged Dark Side would eventually lose all it's power and die off a century after the end of Legacy, finally fulfilling the Chosen One prophecy.) Allana accepts that she is now stuck in this new Galaxy, eventually (if reluctantly) accepting rulership of the Galaxies populace, fulfilling the "Jedi Queen" prophecy.

Yes, I know this is all kind of stupid and the last part was very biased. But what did you expect from me being placed in charge of a official Star Wars project?
