the phoenix bio

jack mason aka the phoenix

a original superhero on youtube (designed by yours truly), this phoenix is in no way related to the marvel character. in fact i did not even know about the marvel character when i made him. anyways here is his biography.

jack mason was a millionaire who at some point gained superpowers and decided to use them for good. he first came to notice when he stopped the mad scientist professor zero, sending him to prison. he next showed up, along with a sidekick, susan foreman aka the falcon, to stop the rampaging criminal snake eyes. next, he sent the centuries old warlord, silver to prison where he and professor zero broke out from. wanting to see  some action, the falcon confronted them, and was promptly defeated. phoenix stepped in and apprehended the two supervillains, however snake eyes had apparently escaped in the mean time. the phoenix, along with his girlfriend dr. tar fox and secret agent luke smith confronted snake eyes and prevented him from releasing the ancient power of the below. the phoenix continued his superhero career, facing of against the terrorist lady grace, and dealing with tara losing her hand and becoming the superhero tiger shark. his powers included flight, super strength, and being able to shoot green fire with his hands .

a shared universe

the idea: i have two major facets online. my idea is that they actually share a universe. its not original, but it will probably be fun.

the worlds: the two "worlds" are my youtube channel (phoenix, lego doctor who, mace windus happy pills, other brothers universe etc.) and my fanfics ( adam ranger, war of the titans, empire of ice, wake up etc.)

the connection: there isn't one. there aren't very many similarities between any of my original stories, besides the fact i have written them all. and for me, thats enough.

the reason: i could say im doing this to try something new, to add something to the world. or it could be because im bored and have nothing better to do.

top 5 alternate star trek universes

star trek, like many other sci-fi shows, has had multiple AU's threw out its history. so now i am going to count down my top 5 favorite.

5. alternate reality
premiering with a cameo from jane. t kirk in an old marvel comic book, this universe has recently had its own adventure in IDW's star trek ongoing. the basic idea is that the entire crew is gender flipped.

4. doomsday war
ok this is technically cheating, as it comes from a fan series but im putting it on here anyways. the basic idea of the federation fighting a war against the doomsday machines. also, spock is replaced with a klingon.

3. mirror universe
dating back to the original series, the mirror universe is defiantly the most consistently appearing. basically, in this universe, good is evil and evil is... more evil.

2. expanded universe
what did you expect? as with star wars, i am a big fan of the star trek EU even if in this case there is zero possibility of being cannon. that just means there is another AU to enjoy, specifically the new novel verse.

1. 2009 verse
created by a rouge movie director..... i mean romulan, this series was made to reboot star trek. and in my opinion at least, they did a pretty decent job. so yes my favorite non- prime verse is the new prime verse. star trek is complicated.

star trek three fan-made script

the movie begins with mudd and her crew triening to sell illegal supplies to a federation colony. the enterprise arrives and stops it, before capturing mudd. however on the way back to earth, the enterprise is stopped by a strange energy field. then Q appears on the bridge. he expresses disgust with the crew for not changing the time line back to how it was supposed to be before Nero. to this end, he sends them into different situations to test them

Kirk, Chekhov and carol Marcus are sent to a snowy winter planet. there they run into Qs version of khan who badly wounds Chekhov and starts to hunt Kirk down. eventually Chekhov dies of his wound, and Kirk confronts khan. Kirk manages to convince khan that he is just a pawn in Qs game. Q appears again and expresses pleasure that Kirk managed to stop the superman.

sulu, uhara and spock are sent to the mirror universe where sulu is in command of the vengeance. playing the part of their counterparts, the three board a mysterious ship witch turns out to be a Borg cube. uhara is assimilated, but spock manages to convince her to turn back by actually showing emotion. sulu then blows up the cube with the vengeance, and Q appears to congratulate them.

mCcoy, scoty and mudd are sent to an empty prime universe enterprise, where they are hunted by a lone Klingon. the three mistrust each other and almost kill each other before realizing they are being manipulated. together with the Klingon, they banish the creature that feeds on villonce. together they then pilot the ship into deep space were they meet Q and the others.

Q tells them that he is pleased with there efforts and decides that they are worthy to continue, and they are sent back to the enterprise. after a funeral service for Chekhov, carol Marcus is promoted to helmsman, and the enterprise continues its five year mission.

top 5 new who companions

when doctor who was restarted in 2005, he had a companion at his side. ever since then, new who has had a multitude of enjoyable costars. and now its time to count down all five of them, from worst to best. (note: im not counting such people as river song, jenny , rory williams and the like.)

5. rose tyler
say what you will about martha and clara, at least they never almost destroyed reality for there boyfriend. this was probably intended to show true love, but its really more a sign of being a stalker. despite this, she does have her good momets, and is an o.k charoctor.

4. amy pond
a abusive wife with admitted mental problems, the girl who waited still manages to be better then rose. although she can be incredible funny, and her relationship with rory is of special note, she did last two and a half years, wich might be considered to long of run by some people.

3. donna noble
the first secretary that i no of who saved the universe. more then once. for every problem with this character, their is a bright spot. all in all a good solid character. if cheaky.

2. clara oswald
clara. what to say about clara. on the one hand shes a mary sue to the upmost degree and doesnt have much of a personality. on the other she can have some very heartwarming momets and her partnership with the doctor can be quite funny. all in all i am a fan of the impossible girl.

1. martha jones
yep. i belive martha jones is the best companion. she may fan over the doctor a lot, but she proved her worth several times (and not by gaining god like powers at that). although her marrying micky smith was a less then stellar ending for martha, but she was still great as a companion.

well there you have it. please note that i did not draw any of these pictures.

star wars episode seven: a new dawn

as you probably know, disney is making a new star wars film tentatively titled "a new dawn". so i thought it would be fun to make ten predications that i would like to see come true in this film. note: i own nothing and am terrible at predications. you have been warned.

10.ashoka tano will make a cameo. this seams very likely in lite of her ambiguous fate at the end of clone wars. that is if she is not killed in rebels.

9.it will entirely ignore the EU. as much as i would like it not to, the only really sound economic decision would be to make it appeal to a wider audience, which unfortunately would finally invalidate the EU.

8.it will have one lightsaber fight. just one. to build up tension, the first return to star wars should not attempt to have so many lightsaber duels it gets bogged down. episode eight is when i would like them to cut lose and show us a lot of lightsaber duels. and just because theres only one duel dose not mean that one duel wont be any good.

7.the mandolorins will have an appearance. because mandolorins are cool.

6.the sith will be the villains. as much as i would like to see new things, the sith are defiantly the best choice for villians. besides, its not like the sith cant be varied.

5.the movie will have the next generation of skywalkers present as at least supporting characters. already all but confirmed, so lets move on.

4. it will spawn a new franchise of movies. similar to the marvel cinematic universe, episode seven should spawn several spin offs. once a year is pushing it in my opinion, but if they pull it of it will be spectacular.

3.the enterprise will have a cameo. to pay back all the times r2-d2 has been in the wreckage of abrams star trek.

2.it will not be an adapation of a exsisting story. sorry but i have to go with disney on this one. whatever happens i want episode seven to be original.

1. it will be epicly awsome. self explanatory.

so there you have it. my top 10 predications for "a new dawn". (who wants to beat there all wrong :P)

can the enterprise actully destroy a planet?

the quick answer: no
the long answer: sure it was said a couple of times in the show. and its been a popular theory with fans for a long time. but is it true? lets find out. first, it was stated that the enterprise was capable of destroying a planet exactly twice. once was because the surface was covered in explosive gas. the second kirk was bluffing to an enemy, and scoty later explained he meant destroy all the cities on the planet. and as far as TNG goes, im told they once destabilized a planet with only seven shots. however this is a sign of poor control and a weak planet, not actually firepower. so how powerful is it actully? lets find out. the government's guideline for building fall out shelters is 10 feet per person. assuming that this holds true for the future as well (i know this is kinda a long shot but its all i have to work with seeing as im not using guide books.) thats a 4000 foot ship, since the enterprise has 400 crewmembers. a klingon battle cruiser is probably around the same size, and the most firepower we see is the enterprise destroying one of those with one shot. we never see the enterprise use more then two phasers, but they do mention "phaser banks 2 thru 6" so lets say they have 6. so thats roughly  8000 meters of damage the enterprise is capable with one shot (6 phasers, each with 1333 meters of damage). are moons surface is 37000000000 square meters. even if you assume that the klingon warbird is made out of material ten times stronger then the moons surface it would take 4265000 blasts from each of the enterprises phasers to destroy the surface of are moon, much less a planet. so the idea that the enterprise can mach firepower with the death star is preety ridiculous to say the least.

sepratist banking clan frigate

the separatist banking clan frigate (here after referred to as the sbcf) was the most commonly seen separatist vessels during the clone wars. all though there has been some information reliesed on it, i have chosen to try to put together what i can, just by myself buy watching clone wars episodes
the banking clan frigate, as seen in the battle of bothawai has a number of guns.  on both sides, it has seven guns on the edge of its shielding armor, and another five on its actual frame. these guns are used for side along bombardement. it also has two larger guns on the very front, which are its primary weapons. it also carries an unknown number of various types of fighters. although it is normally entirely protected by energy shields, these can be relocated to give extra protection to just one area, such as the front. as for the "shielding armor" which is just what im calling that shell like thing on the front, rather large asteroids have bounced of those before without any adverse effects. despite this, these ships have been disabled with only one hit from a ventor class star destroyer before.  all in all, the scbf is not the most effective ship. they usually operated in groups of three to five.
