Ki-adi Mundi VS Kit Fisto versus script

MARTIAL ARTS
Ki-adi Mundi used the fourth form of lightsaber combat, Ataru, but his practice of this style was more simmaller to Qui-gon Jinns version than his own masters. Mundi was a respected warrior throughout the order, declared to be the only one capable of fighting legendary Jedi knight Shared Hett. Although Grievous defeated Mundi on Hypori, this was largely due to his inexperience against such a foe and his extreme exhaustion: It was later stated that under better circumstances Mundi would have defeated the Kaleesh warlord. Mundi also managed to drive Ventress back on Coruscant, although he was being backed up by his clone troopers and it Was an extremely short duel.

Kit Fisto was a member of master Windus personal strike team and generally considered to be its second strongest member. Unlike most Jedi, Fisto continued to use form one Shi Cho long after graduating from the status of padawan, creating a fast paced hurricane of martial arts. Fisto also faced both Grievous and Ventress, although under different circumstances. During his duel with Grievous, Fisto was initially unwilling to engage the general directly, although he did face him long enough  to slice off one of his hands. Once in possession of the second blade, Fisto drove Grievous back with blade work alone, using only one force push half way through the duel. I mention this because almost all Jedi, even Kenobi on Utapua, overcame him via there force powers rather than pure martial might. Fisto was less successful in other duels however, with both Ventress and Sidious defeating him because he wasn't fast enough to provide compensation for Shi Cho's weakness against single oponits.

The first edge is relatively clear. If Fisto had mastered any other form but Shi Cho he would be a powerful one on one duelist to challenge even master Windu. As it is, He is simply to weak in one on one combat to defeat Mundi in one on one combat. I give Ki-adi Mundi the edge in martial arts.

FORCE POWERS
Ki-adi Mundi was a Jedi counselor and as such was a powerful master of the force. He was capable of subverting his advanced age with self augmentation and could produce powerful enough force pushes to create deep craters.

Kit Fisto was also a Counselor, abliet a more specialized one. Although he could still do basic force pushes and augmentation, Fisto was most powerful underwater where he could control currents and use the force water orb power.

The edge here is clear. Fisto focuses on one area of the force that he can not use unless near water, whereas Mundi is more versatile with his powers. That being said, if this fight takes place on a planet such as Kamino, Mundi will probably be drowned before the battle even begins. Still, Ki-adi Mundi gets the edge with force powers.

PHYSICAL SKILLS
To summarize the physical category as effectively as possible, I have only this to say: Fisto is a thirty something Nautolian who can use pheromones to sense what you are about to do. Mundi is a eighty something Ceran who was a big head. Kit Fisto gets the edge in physical skills.

THE VERDICT
There is a strange twist in things here: I believe Fisto is the more powerful of the two, but I still think Mundi would win. Fisto has shown much greater control of the force, even if he is specialized, and his skill with a blade against anything but one on one fights outstrips what Mundi has shown us. The only problem is, due to his personal choices, Fisto is simply not cut out for lightsaber dueling. In any other situation I would pick Fisto, but when pitting them against each other I just don't think Fisto can bring enough to the table to defeat the Ceran master. Mundi on the other hand has no such limitations and has held his own much more effectively in such battles. Thus, I declare Ki-adi Mundi the victor.
