Fredrick versus script

BIOGRAPHY
Born on the medieval era plant of Eriadua, Fredrick began life fighting a local warlord, along with his adopted brother Jack, the medic Elanor and there mutual friend the swordmaster Andrew. Eventually, they defeated the warlord and freed there people, but there adventures were far from over. Several years later, Fredrick discovered an ancient catch of knowledge collected by an ancient intergalactic warrior guild known as the Crusaders. Deciding to continue there legacy, Fredrick and his allies managed to repair an ancient Crusader vessel and depart there home world for the larger universe. Eventually joined by engineering genius Mike Sanders and troubled sorcerers P.s, the group would go on to restart the proud Crusader tradition and save many billions of innocent lives. Although Fredrick would go on to play an important part in future events, in his prime he has a brave warrior and powerful mercenary.

MARTIAL ARTS
Although he had the potential to become one of the greatest warrior in the universe, Fredrick lived in fear of becoming to powerful, afraid he wouldn't be able to control himself. As such, Fredrick purposely limited his training and skill in an attempt to circumvent this. As such, Fredrick developed his own personal form of fighting which, in his own words: "NEVER attack with your full power. attack with as little as possible, gain an understanding of your enemies capabilities, then use enough, JUST enough to defeat them: no more, no less". As such, Fredericks martial skill was somewhat unimpressive, at least on paper. It was neither overly fast or overly strong, it was just enough. When wielding a sword, Phase Blade or other melee weapon, Fredrick  would give ground to his opponent and stave off there blows while trying to work out a way to beat them in a different way. When on the offensive, Fredrick would unleash quick and precise blows, attempting to break his enemies guard, opening them for a physical strike. On the subject of unarmed fighting, Fredrick favoured drawn out and evenly matched engagements, wearing down his foes defenses little by little, trusting on his own stamina to allow him to win. All things considered, many could match Fredrick, but few could beat him.

MAGIC
Although his martial arts were affected by his self imposed limitations, Fredericks magical powers were directly inhibited by his unwillingness to realize his full power. Fredrick could summon energy and use it to erect defenses and powerful blasts. However, he did not like using this ability in combat unless he absolutely had to. Although Fredrick had a natural affinity with telepathy, he could only use it as mental defense and not attack or communication. The exception to this rule was his ability with telekinesis, which he regularly used in middle of combat to retrieve items and stagger opponents. At his full extent, he could lift several tons of material.

PHYSICAL SKILL
By the time he retired, Fredrick was a middle aged Eternal. As such, although physically he was identical to A human, he was really about 150 years of age. In addition to there long life spans, Eternals had a natural skill with telekinesis and telepathy, but I already addressed those. In the prime of his life, Fredrick also took part in a lot of physical training and combat, resulting in him being MUCH stronger, faster and tougher than an average human (For example, being able to jump out a two story window, get shot in the arm and be near a grenade explosion and still be able to take part in a brief physical match).

WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT
As any self respecting mercenary, Fredrick was often a walking armory. He was commonly in possession of Lead guns, energy weapons, many explosives, sonic probes and power armor, although he only used a very limited number of these in a one on one duel. His weapon of choice was a sapphire bladded Phase Blade, a weapon that, although mechanically completely different, functioned much the same as a lightsaber, minus the ability to cut through almost everything and plus a pure colored blade. If he needed to, he could also fall back on his old broad sword, although he did not use it as much because he considered it clumsy and less practical. When confronted with an absolutely overpowering enemy, Fredrick would resort to a ranged weapon or power armor (or anything he can get his hands on for that matter) but again, this is a last resort.
