Windu's versus profile

MARTIAL ARTS

Master Mace Windu was a nearly legendary duelist, often considered to be on par with Yoda and Palpatine. Although he mastered all seven forms, Windu predominantly used Vappad, a variation of form seven that he himself created. Drawing from ones inner darkness, as well as there opponents aggression,  Vappad was a highly aggressive form best used against dark siders. That being said, he could still use it effectively against more peaceful warriors and even non force sensitive duelists. Windus track record almost speaks for itself: he almost killed Dooku with the help of Kenobi, outmaneuvered Grievous on Coruscants mag level train and caused Ventress to flea after about 30 seconds. Although Its true both Sora Bulq and Depa Billaba stale mated Windu with the blade, this is because they were also Vappad users, which means there respective duels were really nothing more than giant super conductive loops of dark side energy. Windus most famous and most impressive accomplishment however, was his duel and defeat of the dark lord Darth Sidious. Although Sidious gained the upper hand at first, Windu managed to focus himself and use both Vappad and Shatterpoint to defeat him (in one alternate universe even killing him). In short, Master Windu is beyond a doubt a top tier duelist and one of the best the Jedi order has ever produced.

FORCE POWERS

Although he was most renowned for his skills with a blade, Windu was no slouch with the force as well. Even in his most subdued appearance, the 2008 clone wars series, he force crushed entire Droideka squads and dropped an entire wall on a tank. In his more advanced appearances he effortlessly manipulated his surroundings and destroyed entire armies with a wave of his hand. According to the Revenge of the Sith novel as well as several comic issues, Windu was also capable of traveling fast enough to appear all but invisible. His most powerful ability, however, was probably his skill with shatter points, allowing him to see the weaknesses in just about anything. He could use this skill for everything from breaking glace to gleaning how to defeat Sidious. In short, Windu can back up his considerable blade skills with powerful telekinesis and the ability to divine his enemies weakest points.

PHYSICAL ABILITY

Unlike most of his peers, Windu was relatively young at only 53. Despite being past his prime, he was still in top condition and the Clone wars only served to advance this. For example, his reaction to being stabbed in the leg with a spear was to scowl and kick the guy who did it. His  most impressive display of physical skill was his mission to Harrun Kal, where he was shot, stabbed, deprived of sleep and beaten to the point of unconsciousness and kept going. Also, as a native to Harrun Kal he had a deep conection to the native Akk dogs.

WEAPONS AND ARMAMENT

As a senior member of the Jedi council, Windu had access to a rare elcotrum finish for his lightsaber hilt, giving it a high resistance against other lightsaber blades. Aside from his lightsabers purple blade, Windu’s armament was not particularly remarkable.
