The Hero of Tython respect thread (chapter one)

Based off of the respect threads on Comicvine, I have created this little beast about one of my favorite Jedi. However, I will just be listing the Heroes track record here, as that is what I find most interesting. And yes, I know that's a picture of Agen Kolar.

1. Bengel Morr

A survivor of the sacking of Coruscant, trained by noted martial artist Orgus Din and regarded as a threat to the entire Jedi Order. Noticeably, THOT engaged and non-fatally subdued Morr without the use of a fully fledged lightsaber.

2. Tarnis

The Son of the fearsome Darth Angral, Tarnis was the inheritor of a strong Dark side tradition. Although his main focus was on stealth and engineering, Tarnis was still skilled with the blade, as well as with force powers, training them into his ligthsaber sequences.

3. Inquisitor Ferav

Confronting the Hero above Ord Mantell, Inquisitor Ferav and a squad of commandos cornered the Heroes padawan Kira Carsen. Of note is that the Hero would not have the option of facing Ferav with Carsen, meaning he would have dueled him alone.

4. Rora Seake

Faced by the Hero on Taris, Rora was a Sith lord, with a strong proficiency with the beast control ability. She could also use force lightning and erect a powerful defensive barrier. She was also notted to be skilled with her yellow bladed lightsaber.

5. Lord Sadic

Lord Sadic was one of the many apprentices of the legendary Sith lord Darth Angral. Taking full advantage of the power guard project, Lord Sadic boosted his already considerable skill by turning himself into a hulking cyborg. This added a ridiculous amount of physical strength to his skill with a blade and force powers.

6. Valis

One of the Emperors children, Valis was a incredibly skilled user of Force Lightning, wielding it in many unorthodox methods. He was also skilled with other force powers and martial arts.

7. Lord Praven

One of the Heroes most impressive defeats, Praven was Angrals first apprentice, a participator in the sacking of Coruscant, personally slaying one of the Orders best swordsmen during the fight. He also defeated many other Jedi and trained Tarnis.

8. Lord Nefraid

The final apprentice of Lord Angral, Nefraid was skilled with the use of a saberstaff. Although he was a dangerous enemy, Nefraids most powerful ability was with Force stealth, even using it in a pitched lightsaber battle.

9. Darth Angral

Easily one of the Heroes greatest accomplishments was the defeat of Darth Angral. Lord Angral was a personal rival of Orgus din, slew the supreme chancellor during the Great Galactic war, was responsible for most of the Heroes problems up to this point, and was all around one of the Jedis greatest enemy's.

10. Kira Carsen

The Heroes final battle in chapter one, however, was against his own padawan, Kire Carsen, temporarily under the control of the Sith emperor. Regardless of whether the Hero was battling Kira herself or the Emperor possessing her body, it still stands as an impressive display of martial ability.

Well, that's it for chapter one. Hope you enjoyed, and hope to see you here again!

Darth Caedus vs Darth Sidious

MARTIAL ARTS
Darth Sidious, in a similar fashion to Jedi master Even Piell, did not practice any one lightsaber form, instead wielding a hybrid of all seven forms, although I believe it was heavily influenced by forms six and seven. In terms of how effective Sidious actually was with the blade, the best way to put it would be "Powerhouse". He stomped the Sith brothers Savage Opress and Darth Maul, killed Jedi masters Agen Kolar, Saesee Tiin and Kit Fisto in a matter of seconds, and faced down both Mace Windu and Yoda on even ground. However, a closer examination of these battle will slightly lesson the impressiveness of these feats: Although he dueled them both at once, Sidious only subdued/killed Maul and Savage when they were separated from each other, not to mention that Jedi master Obi-wan Kenobi managed to beat both of them at the same time before, albeit with considerably more effort. In addition, Saesee Tiin has lost to padawan Kenobi in a sparring match before, and Kit Fisto has a major weakness in one on one combat, meaning that only the death of Kolar is truly impressive.

As with most new Jedi Order characters, Darth Caedus's lightsaber form remains unknown, with it being very likely that he has knowledge in multiple forms. However, considering his fighting style is described as strong and aggressive, not to mention the fact he was trained by Luke Skywalker, it is most likely he is a practitioner of form Five. Caedus was an absolute MASTER of the blade, outranking a good majority of his contemporaries. As a Jedi, he was declared to be a prodigy with the blade, and as a newly christened Sith he managed to fight relatively evenly with the skilled Jedi master Mara Jade, although he was eventually defeated. Later on, he defeated multiple Jedi at once, battlemaster Kyle Katarn and, most impressively, he stalemated Grandmaster Luke Skywalker. Although he WAS eventually killed by his sister, Jaina Solo in one on one combat, this was after he had been severely injured, including being stabbed threw the mid section and one of his hands sliced off. To put it simply, Darth Caedus was easily in the running for the best duelist of his age, and definitely a top tier.

A tough call, as both of these are some of the best duelists of there age, possibly for the entire saga. Both of them were blindingly fast, capable of taking down large groups of Jedi at once, and in general, although there fighting styles are actually quite different, they have both proven themselves to be truly impressive duelists. However, I would have to give the ever so slight edge to Caedus, for reasons I am about to explain: While just a Jedi master, Luke Skywalker managed to at least hold his own against Sidious's clone, who was basically Sidious except mentally older and physically younger. Although I usually disagree with "a beats b, b beats c, so a beats c" logic, I must admit I agree with it hear: someone capable of holding his own against in his prime Luke has a VERY good chance of defeating ROTS Sidious. Although how Katarn, Mara and Jaina match up with Maul, Windu and Yoda is DEFINITELY up to debate, I would put Luke and Caedus above them all (or at least equals with Windu and Yoda, both of whom at least came close to beating Sidious). Thus, I give Caedus the edge in martial arts.

FORCE POWERS
Darth Sidious has been described many times, and by many different sources, as THE most powerful Sith in history. However, I am inclined to pretty much ignore this, for one simple reason: I like examining what the character can actually do, not a arbitrary rank assigned by a guide book. In terms of what Sidious has actually shown, he is more impressive for how he uses his rather mundane powers than for any unique or special abilities. This was especially true for his skill in Sith lighting, his fearsomely powerful bolts killing with a single blast and even partially breaking lightsabers. His telekinesis was also advanced in terms of magnitude, allowing him to easily fling around heavy objects. And of course, his stealth abilities allowed him to hid in plain sight from the entire Jedi order.

Darth Caedus is a mixed bag when it comes to force powers. On the one hand, he traveled the galaxy, visiting many different force using groups and gaining a wide variety of unusual powers such as flow walking, blood trails, stealth and many others. On the other hand, very few of them could actually be used in combat and, although he had many unusual ability's,  in combat he was mostly restrained to the standard Sith fare. His speed enhancement was notable and outpaced most others.H is telekinesis, force choke and  Sith lightning were also quite powerful. Using the Dark side of the force, Caedus's tolerance for pain was incredible, to the point where he could almost out right ignore physical pain. While Jacen Solo was able to become one with the force, I do not believe that Caedus retained this skill.

Ironically, in the arguably most important area between these two,  there is very little difference. Although I would say Sidious has more raw power in the Force, and Caedus has more actual powers, I would say in practice, there powers are nearly identical in terms of practical use. Thus, I declare them equals in terms of Force powers.

PHYSICAL SKILLS
At the time of Order 66, Sidious was a human male in his sixties, but either remained in great physical shape or is really good at physical augmentation, as he was able to match Yodas speed and Windus strength. After his duel with Master Windu, Sidious's face was severely scarred by his own force lighting.

Once known as Jacen Solo, Darth Caedus was the son of Leia and Han Solo. He was a human male, still in the prime of his life, and as such was physically strong and swift, as befitting a martial artist. His tolerance for pain was absolutely incredible although, as previously mentioned, this was largely due to his force powers.

A rather clear call: Caedus is younger, fitter, and not heavily scarred. Thus, I give Darth Caedus the physical edge.

 WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT
Although Darth Sidious has wielded both of his blood red lightsabers at once before, he only did this when he knew he would be confronting Darth Maul and Savage Opress, noted dual wielding specialists. His weapons hilts were also covered in elcetrum finish, making them less likely to be destroyed by other lightsabers.

Very little is known about Caedus/s lightsaber, and the one direct image I can find of it, doesn't even match the other art for Caedus. Although under Jacen Solo it was powered by a green crystal, it was later changed to red when he fell to the dark side. It also appeared to have a slight curve to it. As with most new Jedi Order members, Jacen was also experienced with a blaster.

Sidious almost never wields both blades at once, normally leaving the other hidden in storage. Similarly, Caedus does not normally carry a blaster with him. Thus, I believe them to be equals in the equipment category.

THE VERDICT
Okay, lets just get this out of the way: On paper, Caedus wins. He is a slightly better duelist, can take much more damage, etc, etc, etc. Okay? Okay. For most versus videos, or mine at least, I assume we are removing there prior knowledge of each other: for example, I would assume Shaak Ti and Plo Koon have never met if I made a versus vid between them. This time however, I am rather interested in how this match plays out when you take into account there prior knowledge and/or there tactical response (hence the glossing over of the normal verdict), starting with the Emperor. Sidious, of course, has no prior knowledge of Caedus (the later's rise to power begining over twenty years after the former's fall) and he might even mistake Caedus for a run of the mill dark sider (hey, if he cant sense the Jedi Grandmaster sneaking up on him, then its possible). As for his tactical response, I believe Sidious to be something of a mixed bag. He is certainly intelligent and when he has time to prepare for a battle (such as against Windus strike force) he will probably pull something off like the killing of three powerful Jedi masters in mere seconds. However, when facing an unexpected enemy such as Yoda his first real response (after his force powers anyway) is to attempt to flee. However, as Jensarai said, this just shows a lack of confidence, not a lack of competence. Basically, I believe Sidious largely incapable of facing top tiers he knows nothing about on the fly. And can you really blame him? Sidious has surprisingly  little experience with serious lightsaber battles, only being involved in three to date. Caedus on the other hand, not only would have grown up hearing horror stories about Sidious and probably gaining a (most likely over inflated) idea of his powers, but he is also a much more experienced warrior, being on the front line of many major conflicts and having very little trouble with surprise attacks. Basically, when I take all this into account, I believe this fight would play out with Sidious rushing in head long, while Caeuds falls back and  fights defensively. However, once the younger Dark lord realizes Sidious isn't going to eat his soul, I believe the fight would be quickly ended, with Caedus applying a kick to the head and/or deflecting lighting back at an unprepared Sidious. I declare Caedus the all around victor.

P.S biography

The mysterious sorcerers known only as P.S was first encountered by the Crusader Fredrick and his allies when they were hired to rescue her from the rouge mercenary group only known as the Terrorists. Initially, her allies knew little more about her than that she was a former member of the shadowy M/W organization, and that she was generally detached and wistful. However, after being captured and tortured for months on end by the Terrorist leader DR. Xerxes, she finally broke down and reviled her past to them: Born on a impoverished backwater planet, P.S had grown up hiding her supernatural abilities from the dictatorial government However, she was eventually recovered, imprisoned and forced to watch her family die, before being rescued and taken in by M/W, forsaking her real name in favor of her fallen brothers initials: Paul Simmons. Continuing to work with the intergalactic warriors, P.S eventually retired from adventures from the wider galaxy, marring her long time friend Mike Sanders and eventually passing away peacefully in her sleep.

P.S vs Asajj Ventress

MARTIAL ARTS
Originally trained by Kyle Narec, but mostly self taught, I doubt Ventress originally practiced any of the classical sveen lightsaber forms. However, after her instruction under Dooku, it is heavily implied she became a forme II specialist, with some knowledge of Jar'kai and possibly forms IV and VI. As Dookus main "hand", Ventress was often involved in lightsaber duels against all kinds of Jedi, from padawans to masters. She pretty much trounced Kit Fisto and Luminara Undulie, held her own against several Jedi knights at once, overwhelmed Grievous (possibly with the aid of a dark side nexus and managed to hold her own against Savage Opress, Darth Maul and Count Dooku, at least briefly. On the other hand, she was completely outclassed by Mace Windu, incapable of beating Ki-adi Mundi and a Wounded Plo Koon, and was beaten on a near regular basis by Obi-wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Although I do not think of Ventress as highly as most Star Wars fans, i still believe she presents a challenge to (most) High council members.

P.s was originally a member of M/W, a shadowy guild of sorcerers. As such, her primary focus was on supernatural powers, at the expense of her more mundane abilities, such as martial arts. However, after joining the Crusaders allies she gained a much greater level of skill, thanks to constant training and combat experience. P.s was exceptionally skilled at un armed combat, with physical blows featuring heavily in her dueling style. On the topic of such, she was a swift and acrobatic fighter, dodging about the battlefield and releasing a wide variety of agile strikes. She was also skilled at redirecting enemy moves. Although not the best duelist of her group, she was quite skilled, defeating both the crazed M/W agent Thang and lord Viiper, as well as holding her own against the Hand and Lord Leam. Her most impressive feat however was near the end of her career as an adventurer, where she went head to head with Fredrickson and, even though she was eventually defeated, performed the third best against the dark Crusader, with only Andrew and Fredrick himself doing better.

Going back to my Fredrick vs Shaak Ti video, on a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate P.s a seven in terms of martial arts, a better than average duelist, but with a rather standard fighting style and incapable of truly contending against top tiers such as Ahab and Fredrickson. Ventress on the other hand, basically made a career out of doing this, and although she was similarly outclassed by grandmasters and Sith lords, anyone capable of holding her own against Skywalker and Kenobi at the same time has earned my respect as a martial artist. Asajj Ventress gets the edge, for being more experienced, varied and in general more skilled.

SUPERNATURAL POWERS
The best way to sum up Ventresses power in the Force would be to call it Innately powerful, let unrefined and ruled by hatred. Her telekinesis was probably her greatest asset, as it was powerful enough to easily toss around large objects and stagger even the best Jedi knights, and yet it was her most refined and advanced ability, with her repeatedly showing great accuracy and subtlety via this power. She had no experience in force lighting however, and her stealth and necromancy wont come into play in a pitched lightsaber duel. Her force defense definitely left something to be desired, as Grandmaster Yoda and even Barriss Offee were able to beat it with practical ease.

As described several times already, P.s was most skilled in the use of sorcery, it being the driving focus for most of her early life after all. Although her telekinesis was powerful and precise, it wasn't exceptionally so. Instead, her true power lay in the area of energy manipulation/creation, capable of diverse and powerful abilities, ranging from waves powerful enough to destroy legions of enemies to nearly impenetrable defensive shields and everything in between. She also had a high degree of knowledge in the use of stealth (although she could not become outright invisible) and healing trances, using the later to survive mentally and physically over months of torture.

Asajj Ventress has a good degree of raw power, and she knows how to use it very effectively. However, she had demonstrated herself to be outmatched by other duelists in terms of the supernatural. And the simple fact is, that here she is facing a fully fledged sorcerers. Ventress has enough trouble with force lighting and telekinesis, I have a hard time imagining  how she would deal with abilities that a force user would simply be completely unfamiliar with. I give the edge to P.s in terms of the supernatural.

PHYSICAL SKILLS
Ventress was originally a Rattataki from Rattatak, although she has now been retconned into a nightsister. However, unlike what SOME people would have you believe, changed just about NOTHING physically speaking, and for that matter back story wise, but thats a topic for another day. Back to the point, Ventress had a slim build, but remained physically strong and enduring, as well as swift.

P.s, as with her allies, was an Eternal, a humanoid species with a centuries long life span and natrual ability with telekinesis. P.s was in reasonable condition, not being very physically strong, but having a good degree of speed and swiftness. In addition, her tolerance for pain was exemplary, managing to survive being impaled even without the option of a healing trance. That being said, she was in recovery for about a month afterwards.

No real edge here, as both are very similar physically speaking. I call it a tie.

WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT
Asajj Ventress was armed with a set of paired lightsabers: capable of being used as dual sabers and/or a saberstaff.  Ventress was highly skilled with the use of the dual blades (to the point she was somewhat over reliant on it), although she only rarely used a saberstaff. In addition, both weapons were powered with synthetic red crystals and had curved hilts, adding to there precision and unorthodoxy.

Mostly relying on her supernatural powers, P.s was not as heavily equipped as her allies. However, she still knew her way around most melee weapons  and was a expert markswoman, carrying a standard energy pistol. She rarely used it, but she was in possession of a suit of  mark 4 Delta power armor. When dueling, her weapon of choice was a dark purple bladed phase blade, a rare color associated (naturally) with Crusader sages.

This edge is actually surprisingly hard to call. P.s definitely has a wider arrange of weapons and skills, but she only has a limited amount of them on her person at any one time, and even fewer that would actually be useful in one on one combat. On the other hand, P.s has combated dual wielders before and even has some experience with staff weapons, limiting Ventress's advantage. Technically lightsabers are superior weapons to Phaseblades, being able to slice threw many more materials and having a longer lasting source of energy. However, Phaseblades do have a long enough battery life to stay functioning throughout even a lengthy duel, leaving it a contest between P.s and her simple blade and ventress's paired weapons. Ventress gets the SLIGHT edge in equipment.

THE VERDICT
Okay, on the surface this looks like its just going to be another "there even in physical skills and equipment, leaving the superior duelist to overcome the magicien." However, I should explain WHY I almost always give the edge to martial artists over force users: I simply believe a gap between force skill is easier to overcome than one between duelists. For example, most people believe Yoda is a much more powerful force user than Dooku (a view I disagree with, but to each his own) and yet all Dooku needed was a basic understanding of force lighting and telekinesis to force the Grandmaster to resort to the blade. On the other hand, the large gap between Dooku and Quinlan Vos lead to the Jedis constant defeat. However, this does NOT come into play here for a very good reason: Whereas any Jedi or Sith can use telekinesis or bloke lighting with a lightsaber, these tactics simply wont work here: P.s is not only bringing powers that Ventress has no knowledge of, but even if Ventress was, there isn't really anything she could do about it. Her energy attacks not be blocked with a lightsaber, her defenses can not be penetrated by one, and although her power with stealth and healing, as well as other abilities that can not be mentioned do to time constraints, are not LIKELY to be used here, if P.s gets the chance, Ventress will Similarly be outclassed. This is not to say (of course) that this fight is one sided, far from it. Vnetress IS the much better martial artist after all. However, if and/or when P.s resorts to her supernatural powers (which would be very likely, she IS a sorceress after all) Ventress will have a very limited amount of options to stay standing, much less strike back. I declare P.s the victor, at least in seven out of ten battles.

Star Wars what if the Jedi and Sith switched?

1,000 BBY: the seventh battle of Ruusan. Acting on the advice from lord Bane, Kann and his Sith brotherhood successfully set of a powerful fought bomb, destroying the entire Jedi order. Or so they think. Slinking away from his destroyed army of Light, Jedi master Hoth watches from the shadows as the Sith conqueror the Republic and "reform" it, installing a puppet leader under direct Sith control. Swearing to avenge the Jedi, but realizing he had no chance against them by himself, Hoth goes into hiding, taking a young Fae Coven with him to train in the ways of the Light side. However, Darth Bane remains suspicious and trails the fleeing Jedi, finally catching up with them twenty years later. Hoping to give the Jedi a chance to survive, Hoth sends Fae off with orders to find her own apprentice while he himself remains behind and fights a last stand against the Sith, taking both Bane and his apprentice down with him before finally perishing. Centuries later, Faes padawan, Minch Yoda decides it is finally time: with the Sith order and false Republic becoming more and more weak and corrupt over time. However, master Yoda himself was to old to oppose them himself, and thus gave the order to begin the downfall of the Sith to his last apprentice, Qui-gon Jinn, before dying. Twenty years later, Sith master Maul Opress and his master, Sifo Dyas, arrive at Kalee to aid the Trade federation in quelling the revolts plaguing the planet. However, the Sith are betrayed by the Niemodians (acting on orders from an unknown party) and they flee to the planet below, eventually meeting up with the deposed warlord Grievous. The small group manage to escape to Tatooine. There, the Sith manage to gain the parts they need by beating with a local parts dealer, also winning a young slave named Anakin Skywalker in the process. However, before they can leave they are confronted by a mysterious human warrior wielding a blue lightsaber: the shadowy Jedi apprentice Obi-wan Kenobi. The small group escapes to Koriban where, while Grievous converses with senator Liam Kane, Sifo and Maul speak to the dark council and the dark lord himself, Sidious. The two Sith are told to be extremly careful if it is indeed the Jedi who are involved, while the simple slave Anakin is discovered to be a powerful force sensitive and apprenticed to Lord Bulq. Returning to Kalee, Sabe' and her handmaiden Padme' lead the assault against the Trade Federation while Sifo and Maul once again confront Kenobi. Although the young Jedi manages to kill the master in one on one combat, Maul surprises and kills the aspiring Jedi. Enraged at his lose, a victorious Maul returns to Korriban and slays Bulq, claiming Anakin now Vader) as his own padawan. Ten years later, the galaxy falls into turmoil, with rouge Sith lord Mace Windu leaving the order and taking control of a custom built clone army and declaring war against the Sith and Republic, causing many to believe him to be another Jedi. Over the next three years, Vader becomes close to chancellor Kane and begins to doubt his role as a Sith lord. The war hits a major turning point when, on a mission to capture lord Sidious, Windu is killed by the now graduated Vader. Deciding to end the war, Sidious personally leaves to stop the clone invasion of Kyyshk while sending Maul to Alderan to kill the supreme commander of Windus forces: A cyberneticly enhanced Padme Amidala. The two engage in a furious lightsaber duel, with Maul eventually defeating the commander, learning that Windu had nothing to do with the Jedi before killing her. Back on Coruscant, a conflicted Vader discovers a deep secret: chancellor Kane is secretly Jedi Grandmaster Qui-gon Jinn. Unsure of what to do, Vader informs lord Dooku of Kanes real identity, with the Sith lord leaving to confront him, along with his closest allies. However, Qui-gons guards ambush and kill the other three lords and although Dooku manages to disarm Qui-gon, Vader arrives, forsakes the Sith and brutally decapitates Dooku. Takeing advantage of the situation, Qui-gon sends the newly reformed Anakin to Kamino to kill the Siths corporation allies, while he himself uses the holonet to send a public message to the entire Republic: the galaxy, after a thousand years, is sick and tired of Sith rule. All across the galaxy, Sith find entire planet populations attacking them, and with there droid armies deactivated by Anakin, they are cut down by the hundreds. Soon, only three lords remain: Sidious, his "Wife" Sly Moore and Darth Maul. While Maul furiously leaves to confront his former apprentice, Sidious arrives on Coruscant and begins a furious duel with Qui-gon. The two fate deciding duels take place at once, the galaxy hanging in the balance with every blade strike. Eventually, Sidious out maneuvers the Grand master and slices off two of his limbs, an arm and a leg. However, he is stopped from killing him and is forced off world by the entire Coruscant populace. Sidious attempts to escape to the unknown regions, but the last few of Windus star destroyers incinerate his shuttle. Meanwhile on Kamino, the second duel reaches a tipping point, both combatants disarming each other and resorting to force lighting. The two prove to eb evenly matched, the built up energy exploding spectacularly,s ending Maul flying off the rain soaked platform, although Anakin doubts his death. Datys later, a shadowy form on Korriban watches in disgust as the now healed Qui-gon (with cybernetic replacements) appoints Anakin the first chancellor of the new galactic alliance. Sly Moore is furious at the defeat of the Sith, but she knows she must remain hidden, not only toe scape death, but to watch over her final charge: Sidious's child, and the only hope for the Sith order.

Shaak Ti VS Depa Billaba

MARTIAL ARTS
Jedi master Shaak Ti was a very high level duelist, possessing great renown among the order and backing this up with considerable skill. She was a master of form two Makeshie and form four Ataru, creating a high pace and acrobatic form that was still very precise and accurate. Although she certainly hasn't had the most experience in such arenas, master Ti has still been involved in her own fare share of duels. She battled and defeated one of Dooku's dark acolytes Artel Darc and held her own against a small army of magnaguards during the battle of Coruscant. Although Grievous defeated her on Hypori, this was the first time any Jedi has faced the killer and lived to tell about it, not to mention the fact that all the Jedi involved in the fight were on there last bit of energy. Noticeably, master Ti also managed to stalemate Anakin Skywalker in a duel, and considering that Count Dooku, Cin Dralig and many others are among Anakins kills, that is no mean feat. Shaak Tis final battle was against Vaders secret apprentice Starkiller on the planet Felucia. Although she was an excellent duelist and presented a major challenge, Starkiller eventually overpowered and defeated her. All things considered, master Ti isn't the best duelist of her era, but anything less than a top tier is within her skill range to defeat.

Trained by Mace Windu, usually considered to be among the best duelists of the age, Depa Billaba was a very skilled master of the blade, out classing a good majority of her peers. Billaba was trained in a variation of form seven lightsaber combat known as Vappad. Created by Master Windu, Vappad worked by allowing Jedi to give in to there enjoyment of battle, creating an advanced and varied form that was almost unique for its day. Although it did work best against dark siders and aggressive warriors, Vappad primarily draws from ones inner darkness, meaning it still works almost as effectively against calm light siders and droids. On the topic of Depa Billabas skill with the form, I am of the opinion that she is the second greatest master of the form (after Mace Windu himself), as even when fallen to the dark side she retained her competency with the form to a much MUCH higher degree then the other Vappad master of the era, Sora Bulq. Billabas absolute mastery of the blade was self evident, considering her reputation and the fact she would have to have a working knowledge of all seven classic forms to master Vappad. That being said, her one dule was against her former master Windu, which is NOT  a proper judge of there skill, as if two Vappad masters are even CLOSE to equals, there duel will simply become a super conductive loop of Dark side energy.

This is, by far and away, going to be the most difficult area to call. Both of these are incredibly varied duelists, with Shaak Ti wielding a hybrid form and Billaba wielding the almost unique Vappad form. Simerly, they have both been depicted taking on and surviving encounters with top tier duelists, and even though Depas duel with Windu doesn't really qualify, by all appearances she is more than capable of taking on more average warriors of such skill. I cant even call it based on experience as, although Shaak Ti has been depicted in more lightsaber duels, this does not mean Depa is a novice in such areas, and as a master of Vappad, she has almost certainly been involved in, at the very least, incredibly heated sparring matches with Windu and Bulq. In the end, I see no choice but to call them equals in martial arts.

FORCE POWERS
As A Togruta, master Ti had a deep connection with the living force and nature. She was easily at her most powerful on jungle planets such as Felucia, where she could use her powers to control wildlife, massive creatures and even affect things on a planetary scale if she stayed there long enough. This was not to say she was useless in a more common setting, far from it. She was still capable of self augmentation, tuteminues and crater creating force pushes.

Depa Billaba was by far and away best known among the fanbase for her skill with a blade. However, the Jedi council new her best as an insightful and spiritual being, often considered THE expert in such areas. However, you cant meditate an enemy to death, and her deeper spiritual connection to the force has not been shown to give her any powers beyond the norm, aside from the speed to match the superhuman pace of her master.

Unlike the first edge, this one is relatively clear. Depa Billaba is certainly no novice with the force, but Shaak Ti has MUCH more practical knowledge and abilities with it then Billaba, giving her a (possibly) decisive edge.

PHYSICAL SKILLS
A Togruta female roughly in her sixties, Shaak Ti still remained in excellent condition. Unlike average beings, light side users can remain in there physical prime well into what others would consider "old age", with Qui-gon Jinn being able to keep pace with Darth Maul being a good example. In addition to this, master Ti's montrolls provide her with echolocation, giving her an edge in personal combat.

Depa Billaba was a Chalactan female and one of the youngest members of Jedi council, still in her physical prime by the time of order 66. Chalactans are one of the many near human species inhabiting the galaxy, and don't appear to have any physical advantages over your average person, beyond there natural spiritual outlook and again , you cant meditate you enemy to death.

True, Shaak Ti is almost a good twenty years older at her time of death then Billaba. However, she remains as physically adept as Billaba, and when you add in her montrails, Shaak Ti gets the physical edge.

WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT
Master Shaak Ti was equipped with a standard Jedi lightsaber, with no additional advantages beyond her familiarity with her own design. It was powered by a single blue lightsaber crystal.

Depa Billaba, as with many Jedi of the age, originally wielded a standard Jedi lightsaber with a yellow or Red blade, later changing to a green blade after the return of the Sith.

Both master Billaba and Ti, amazingly, wield nothing besides standard Jedi lightsabers. I need to pick peopole with more varied armament.

THE VERDICT
I think it goes without saying that, whoever wins this, it is going to be a spectacular duel between to closely matched ladies of war. If I am completely honest, the physical difference between these two is negligible (Ti's echolocation is matched by even a Jedi knights level of force sense) and the difference in armement is literally non existent. However, although neither can really claim any advantage with the blade, Ti is the clearly superior force user, having a much wider array of more impressive abilities. This turns the match from Consular vs Guardian (force vs dueling) to a much less unsure ending (force AND dueling vs dueling). Thus, I declare Shaak Ti the hard fought winner and still the holder of the title Lady of war.
